Herbert is overrated and they had a lot of guys who were pretty similar in caliber to Palmer, I'd say. So the opportunities were spread around a lot. 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I am really interested to see where Darius Slayton goes and for how much. I figured they wouldn't want him but I was hoping. Quote

ExWNYer Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago For all you pearl clutchers, $18 million guaranteed over 3 years is hardly an overpay for a WR. 8 1 3 Quote
stlbills13 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Palmer can play. The only concern is that he'll likely be miscast in the #1 boundary WR role and face a lot of top CB's. Coleman has to take the next step. That's been the key no matter what. I'd still go out and get some sort of speedster in the draft 1 1 1 Quote

Bruffalo Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) If you put it into context with how much Gabe Davis got last year, then this deal looks better. I'd rather have Palmer than Davis any day. Edited 5 hours ago by Bruffalo 5 1 2 Quote
WEATHER DOT COM Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Got beat out as last year went on by Quentin Johnston who has some of the worst hands in the league. Why is this a good signing? 1 1 1 Quote

We lack a difference maker at WR/TE It is what Beane and Co have decided. They are elite at QB, very good at O-line and RB (and OC), above average at TE, and average at WR. 1 Quote

I would have looked like a fortune teller 😅 Except that I figured they'd target him because he would be a cheap option. I thought an offer would be 3 years for $12M total. Right now this looks like a crazy overpay unless they know something he hasn't put up ont he stat sheet. What stopped you? 2 Quote
Process Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Bills now have an $8M WR, $12M WR, $15M WR and a recent 2nd round pick at WR. Makes me think they aren't spending big resources on the 5th guy. 1 Quote

Why is this a good signing? Because the free agent options are slim pickings, we pick at the very end of the draft, stud WR's don't get traded unless they're getting a mammoth contract to go with it, and he still upgrades the WR room. 1 Quote
