I'll take back the bum part.  Hopefully he fulfills his potential in Buffalo w/ Allen.  Clearly he has the best separation numbers in the WR room now,  needs to stay healthier going forward.

If Palmer is AAV=$12m now, I'd assume Slayton=$16-18m per...in which case I'd rather of paid Slayton, so I'm hoping to see him closer to $20m

Around $40M for the entire WR room and you think that's a lot?  I would guess that's towards the bottom of the league.  Some of the top WRs approach that figure by themselves.

 

I think they could and should add C Kupp for a $15-20M deal.  Provide needed depth for both the boundary and Shakir.

Bingo.  Yes, if picking between Keon and Ladd, it would have been Ladd for me all day based on talent.  But we have one of the best slots in the league in Shakir.  Throw in Kincaid, and we should have the short to intermediate levels of the field covered.  What we need are boundary WRs that can win vs man coverage.  Palmer can do this.  He's not going to do anything flashy and you still want someone better opposite him, but he fits a need.  We needed 2 boundary WRs.  We have 1.  Now we need another one with game breaking speed, preferably.

Marino got this half right: the player. But half very, very wrong: the price. He projected a "bargain" signing of two years at $10 million. If the headlines are true, Joe predicted less than 42% of the actual salary. I hope some of the 36 million is incentive based.

Kupp would be a starter.  He can play outside or inside

Nah I’m not a big Palmer fan but Slayton is unreliable. Drops a lot of passes.

I think Palmer is the guy to stretch the field like they wanted Cooper to do.  I think Coleman is supposed to be the big guy they wanted to fight for contested balls, especially in the red zone.

He's still young at 25. I would have preferred Slayton as felt he a little quicker but Palmer was 2nd on my list as he fits what we need which is an outside threat with good hands and decent speed.

Typical bills move at wide receiver. It’s the Curtis Samuel type of move but at least he’s a big target that can catch. I just hope that doesn’t mean they’re not gonna try and keep Cooper or go after a stud wide receiver in the draft. Get some speed like that kid golden.
