The offense they put out there last season was good enough to win a Super Bowl.  Josh elevates his WRs and having a great O-Line and a real running game will get the job done on that side of the ball again.

We need to build the defense this off season and that is where I hope Beane makes the big investments.

If we can resign #13 and get a sub 4.4 guy in the draft (prob in rd 2), this WR group would look good.  Pick #30 is probably going to be to be a CB or DL

I'm sure this will pan out as well as Beane's other FA WR signings

This remains THE mystery on offense last year. Samuels, Cooper, and well, pretty much all receivers, had subpar numbers. Yet the offense was the #2 in the league and a juggernaut. And Josh the MVP.

Palmer was the guy that made the most sense to go after to me, based on availability and cap space. For this very reason.

He's built like Amari Cooper but faster and more physical at this point in their careers. He can also block in the run game.

Like you said, the Bills can win a Super Bowl with this offense. Now they need to build a defense capable of winning a championship.

Shakir

Coleman

Palmer

Samuel

Hollins?

Mid round pick

If you lock Cook up, and this offense will continue to be top 5 every year.

What would Joe Burrows numbers look like if he had this receiving corps? 🤔

It almost certainly WON'T be $12M/yr.

Wait for the full contract terms. The ones you're reacting to were released by the player's agent and don't tell the whole story.

Ya it's only 18 guaranteed I think I saw.

Which means it's probably like a 2 year, 18 million dollar deal

Palmer can play. The only concern is that he'll likely be miscast in the #1 boundary WR role and face a lot of top CB's. Coleman has to take the next step. That's been the key no matter what. I'd still go out and get some sort of speedster in the draft

I expect Shakir to emerge as the primary option.  Coleman and Kincaid as secondary options.  Buffalo has lacked a player outside since Smoke.  I think Palmer could have a career year with Allen.  Like his age and efficiency.  Not THE guy but a player with upside and a role that was needed.

I'm guessing it's "practically"  2 year deal for 10 mil per

Sorry, I wasn't clear: Marino's numbers were $10 million total for 2 years, not average per year. Or at least that's how I took it.

The good news: his win rate against man coverage is top 5. 10th best win-rate against zone. Top-10 in both outside and zone for both. But he plays mostly outside.

It is not a mystery at all.  The idea behind the offense was, and is, to spread the ball around.  Not to focus on feeding one guy, like we did with Diggs.  And it worked.

Palmer fits in well.  He can get separation which was somewhat of an issue for us at times.  Can get down the field, and importantly can block.

WR1

I can't really express how happy I am with this move

This is the steal of FA

Palmer could turn into a true , elite WR1. Everytime i watch LA play he sticks out, just had a mediocre QB who had an awful OL. Watch,  there's obviously no guarantees but he definitely has those characteristics to be an elite outside guy and at 25 is just approaching his prime
