They compared him to Chris Olave and Chris Godwin as a route runner. I like that kind of upside. Don’t really understand why the Chargers let him go…if there were any actual Chargers fans, we could ask them… 4 Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Nice! He was one of the guys I felt would be on our short list. I am sure the "mortgage everything" for a WR crowd will be underwhelmed, but make no mistake about it, I think he is a good fit for this group and really brings something we have been missing to this offense. I thought him or Slayton were names to watch for us, so glad to see us lock one up early and at a reasonable deal. 3 1 2 Quote
JerseyBills Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'm thrilled, LA had a bad OL, Mediocre QB and Palmer still showed out , don't be fooled by the stats, I'll bet 1k that we're saying we got a steal this time next year, the highlights speak for themselves, I'll provide some in a bit . At 25 , the potential is high 1 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) Palmer ranked 3rd in the entire NFL with 15.2 Air yards per target for reference, DK was 6th Edited 21 hours ago by Warriorspikes51 2 1 Quote

I like the addition but I have no idea how he got that kind of dough. It's $18M guaranteed, so let's see the terms. Perhaps incentive laden? 1 Quote

Greg Roman offense? Not so great pass protecting O-Line (Herbert was sacked 41 times last year)? Herbert only threw an average 29 times/game and only completed 19/game? 1 Quote
The Jokeman Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) He's had more yards each of the last 3 seasons compared to Hollywood Brown and offers more size and is younger and a longer contract. Edited 21 hours ago by The Jokeman 4 Quote
Bockeye Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago At least he ran .08 seconds faster than Coleman. We have a burner now 🔥 I kid. I kid. He gets some good separation and can catch the ball. 1 1 Quote

Aussie Joe Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago There seems a philosophy shift and they aren’t going to pay anymore for a number 1 WR on this everybody eats, run heavy offense to get 800 yards and 80 targets maximum … Hope they improve the D now, so they can get a few stops and get off the field quicker/more frequently. Put the ball back in the MVPs hands instead of having him sit on the bench staring into space whilst they are giving up another long drive .. 1 Quote

JerseyBills Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago His potential is sky high. Don't be surprised if he exceeds 1k yards, He was the WR i wanted, watched a few Chargers games, their OL is trash, Herbert is good and Palmer, only 25 always popped out to me on the outside, which we need. There's no guarantees but sky is the limit with him. He could be a beast in this O. Watch his tape!!! BBB making the proper moves, love it. True weapon, playmaker 4 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I like the addition. He can seperate, esp. Against man coverage, which is something we have needed. 3 Quote
