G2 be honest, Chargers havent very much been worth watching. In seeing his 40 time at 4.51, and some less than awe inspiring stats. Im a basket half full kinda guy, and im not seeing total doom n gloom on the thread yet.... anybody able to tell me why I should get excited other than being young Quote
stlbills13 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago If we still signed a few depth DL guys and maybe a depth CB/S. Then with 3 of the first 62 picks we took DL, CB, WR, I would say that's a heck of an offseason. We were never going to sign a stud free agent because that didn't really exist. But get some depth guys and then take advantage of an extra draft pick and you're looking at a really good spring/summer 1 Quote
jaybeezee Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Gotta trade for top end talent. The days of young studs in their prime wanting to come here are over for now. 1 Quote

DJB Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago If we had just selected Ladd McConkey at the draft last year when I said to do so we wouldn’t be in this position to overpay and have Coleman who is still a huge ? 3 Quote
Charles Romes Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Supposedly separation metrics are off the charts Quote

He's not going to take over a game but he's going to get open and make tough catches. 6 1 Quote
babulator Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) So he's kinda like a less productive Robert Woods? He'll probably be more productive than Coop was for us, but not the deep threat we want/need. This signing probably says more about Samuel, Cooper and Colemen than anything else. We definitely still need to draft or sign someone. Edited 22 hours ago by babulator Quote

Young studs in their prime never want to come here now that the grain elevators are no more. Gotta draft top end talent because teams don't let top end talent go. When they do you should pounce and that's why I'm ticked off about the Metcalf potential deal. I do like this signing though. Quote
FireChans Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I don’t hate it but I find it hard to love tbh. Quote

Got the reigning MVP at qb and still can't get a top tier WR for the man. Everyone eats has ruined our reputation for stud WRs wanting to come here. There's a reason that LA didn't resign this dude for 13 per year, especially when they have no real studs at the position. This to me equals the Samuel signing. 1 1 Quote
Bill51390 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Like this signing. I think he has potential to be a very good receiver with Allen. Also isn’t like there was any amazing receivers available in FA. I’m sure we still draft someone in the first 4 rounds to compete. 1 Quote
oldmanfan Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago To all this bitching and moaning, look at the crop of WRs that were available. Take out guys like Goodwin who didn’t want to leave their teams. Then look at what was available. Palmer was among the best for what was needed, a guy that can separate and get down field. 2 2 Quote

BillsFooteball Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago No I don’t think it’s good value but what free agent signed today has been? It’s been ridiculous overpaid contracts left and right as always during this time. Bills needed someone on outside who can separate and he does that 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Shakir Palmer Coleman Samuel Hollins? Cooper? Another player whose unexpected? Quote
