Expecting nothing real different from Coleman. He's not someone you bank on to make your WR room good enough. He's someone that if he develops, great. But, he's not someone you base your assessment of the position on. This team needs a WR1 with some speed and some explosiveness. That skill set is not currently on the roster. It's on Beane to find that guy via trade or the draft. Then, if Coleman turns into something, that's what puts the WR position over the top. But I am not going into this season with him as part of the corps I can count on. Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Some of ya'll gotta do your research before you're talking ***** on here. Palmer ain't Chase but he checks every box for a boundary receiver, and for a value. 5 1 1 Quote

They are elite at QB, very good at O-line and RB (and OC), above average at TE, and average at WR. We were all expecting Beane to get an elite guy for Josh, kinda like expecting a Mercedes and given a Kia. 1 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago A great sign here that Beane didn't accidentally oversleep today. 2 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I think this deal might close the door on a Hollins return Quote
buffblue Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I like it a lot. Palmer just makes plays period every time I've watched him. Still just 25 as well Quote

I think it was a little bit of an overpay but to secure your guy on the first day of FA that’s what needed to be done. He fills a need which is a guy who can serve as a pressure valve and win his one on one match when teams blitz. 1 Quote

If he's your best outside WR it's very underwhelming and I've accepted that that is a real possibility for us this year. But he's better than say Mack Hollins in that role. 1 Quote

Why is this a good signing? What do you mean beat out? He had a calf injury and heel injury late in the season. 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I like this signing. Young. Decent size. Good separator. Not sure what happened last season in San Diego, but he has the potential to break out here (I hope). Quote
L Ron Burgundy Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Ok, guys that can separate is what we need. This may be sneaky good. Not in the tier of wr I was hoping for but with the prices this FA this might be best. 1 Quote
