Probably a nice complimentary piece but that seems to be all our WR room is full of.

His advanced metrics are really good. He is a good route runner and separator. He plays on the outside, which is what we need.

 

That price tag is more than I expected, but he obviously had a lot of suitors and the Bills wanted him.

Oh man, I was going to post this is who the Bills would target yesterday! I would have looked like a fortune teller 😅

Except that I figured they'd target him because he would be a cheap option. I thought an offer would be 3 years for $12M total. Right now this looks like a crazy overpay unless they know something he hasn't put up ont he stat sheet.

It really isn't an overpay, unless all FA deals are overpays (which may be true). This is just the going rate for a quality WR3.

 

Unfortunately it doesn't look like a WR1 is coming, the market just isn't there and we missed out on Metcalf. They'll have to look to the draft unless a surprise trade is coming.

Ok going entirely by what was on my wishlist? He's near perfect.

 

Believe me if a Jamar Chase fell into the team's lap I'd be stoked but if the plan is to tune up the "everyone eats" a man to man separator was the missing piece.

 

Take a guy in the mid rounds (along with a RB) and load up everything else on D

Yeah the more I look at it the better it looks. Hope he has untapped potential.
