Kirby Jackson Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Feels like a decent signing. That’s a big number for him but he can hopefully help stretch the field. He has averaged over 15 YPC each of the last 2 years. Quote

KentuckyBillsFan Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I'm sure this will pan out as well as Beane's other FA WR signings 1 1 3 1 Quote
Beast Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) This is what happens because Coleman is still a big question mark. If they were more confident in Coleman I don’t see this happening. Edited March 10 by Beast 2 2 5 Quote
Cray51 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Shakir Coleman Palmer Samuel Hollins? Mid round pick If you lock Cook up, and this offense will continue to be top 5 every year. 2 3 1 Quote

Joe Marino did as well on his Mock Offseason. 12m per is more than I was expecting. But he obviously must have had a market. Only $18M guaranteed. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 So palmer will be asked to do exactly what they would have asked metcalf to do in this offense. Only he is going to do it at 12 a year for 3 years instead of 30 a year for 5 years. Also palmer I believe is a good locker room guy. 8 2 1 Quote
Process Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 I'll be honest, $12M/yr seems kind of outrageous for a guy with these numbers. I like the addition but I have no idea how he got that kind of dough. 5 9 Quote
jaybeezee Posted March 10 Posted March 10 1 minute ago, BruceVilanch said: Someone tell me to be happy or pissed! 38 reception for 584 yards. Canadian kid so he won't complain about the cold, but also typical Beane signing to me. 38 receptions for a team that had no superstar wide receivers is not really good. We're paying 13 million per year for that. 1 1 1 Quote
Logic Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Woof. I don't care about the money. As I said recently, there's no sense in reacting to contract terms when we don't actually know them yet. But purely reacting to the player himself? Hard to get excited about a WR coming off back to back 580 yard seasons, who just had a HUGE opportunity in LA last year and didn't really seize it. He's fine, I guess. Not a needle mover. Very much Just A Guy. Now here come the same people that defended the Curtis Samuel signing last year to tell me how wrong I am... 4 3 3 2 Quote
wppete Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Localish guy. I think he's from Toronto. I like this signing! Quote
DJB Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I’m not happy. Overpaid for another mediocre WR just like we did with Samuel Why can’t we go out and get a real WR for Josh? 4 1 4 1 Quote
