YoloinOhio Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Now they just need to sign Russ and lean on the defense, it’s a proven method to get them nowhere but lower in the draft next year but it’s better than aaaaaaron Quote
stuvian Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago There's no way they gift him the job uncontested Quote

WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I was going to say it made sense: pick up another journeyman, draft a rookie and hold an open competition And then I saw the guaranteed money. Jesus Quote

Minshew is behind Fields in average salary now-- and he's getting only 62% of Fields's salary. 2 hours ago, GunnerBill said: The worry with Fields is whether he is just too good to stop you being in position to draft one in the top 5 next year? that should not be a worry lol gotta love the Jets---total clown show FO every year. 1 Quote

frostbitmic Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The NFL needs to move the 2026 draft to NYC ... With the Jests and Giants potentially picking #1 and #2, what better place to be. 2 Quote

Former Vikings QB Sam Darnold reached agreement today on a three-year, $110.5 million contract including $55 million guaranteed with the Seattle Seahawks I hesitate making a separate thread for every signing. I get Fields is relevant because its in the division. Yeah, there probably should have been just one thread to track non-Bllls FA moves and trades, but at the same time, it would be hard to announce major acquisitions unless someone updated the first post immediately as it happened, which is not possible realistically (unless you were @YoloinOhio in the olden days). You were in a tough spot, but I would have given Darnold his own thread l, but I would have also really hesitated too. Quote

Mango Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I like Fields more than most. I don't think he is great, but he wasn't the problem in Chicago and probably should have been the starter in Pittsburgh at the end of the season. That said, I don't think he is a good fit for the Jets and the Jets are a really bad fit for him. He needs a much more steady and stable org. Quote
