Right.  It starts at Noon.  East Noon is before West Noon therefore advantage East.

 

I agree, it's not fair. But on the flip side, we in California get to watch the Bills at 10am and already know what happens before people in Buffalo get to watch the game in person at 1pm.

I was in Hawaii one time, and the game started at 7am there.

Just on here to make note that if any team actually thought it started at noon EST, they will be off by an hour. Yesterday, daylight savings time started and we pushed the clocks ahead an hour. The so-called legal tampering period started at noon EDT which would actually be 11 AM EST. So, any GM too stupid to know the difference is behind by an hour!

 

But, more to the point, Former, as others have pointed out, it starts at noon EDT, not noon local time. And, 9 AM PDT is not so early that GMs are unwilling to be talking to agents at that time of the day.
