And if our outside WRs struggle as badly as they did last year, this will be the latest example of him failing to add to the room. I really hope he has some kind of plan. Yes, his plan was not to give 30 million dollars a year to a one trick pony (it's a hell of a trick though) Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Here comes the massive panic already. He’s a good WR but hardly the player everyone makes him out to be. 33 million AAV with no QB and whiny ass George Pickens on the other side , this is going to blow up in Pittsburghs face 1 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Hate the fact it was for so little compensation. Contract is probably too big for what the Bills wanted to pay. cold-weather team not a contender. Quote
PauleeeWalnuts Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Beane passed on DK for a second time haha 1 1 2 1 Quote

Man with No Name Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I don't think he's worth that kind of money. but maybe my mind isn't wrapped around new and future cap realities. I don't see a world a where he's worth more than double Shakir. 1 Quote

buffblue Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Awful trade by the now consistently mediocre Pittsburgh Steelers. Metcalf is not close to being worth that money 1 Quote

He'd fetch them a #1, as much of a headache he is, he would be unreal with a real QB Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Welp, I’m convinced. A WR of this magnitude isn’t in our cards, considering what it costs. With how the offense has been built, we can’t justify that cost. Right now, we don’t need a WR to take up 40% of the loot on field. We don’t play that way. So we pick up guys who posses one or two of the skills we need AND we draft. A stud on a rookie deal is the best we’ll get. Quote

Westside Madness Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago They way he likes to fight and swing helmets around, I would call him if I need help in a bar fight, but for that kind of $, we need a players that isn't going to follow a 40 yard compeltion with a 15 yard penalty on first down. Emotional maturity is a thing. Quote
Jerboski Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Eventually you have to take a chance beane god man these two just wasting Allen’s prime years 1 1 3 2 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Terrible contract. Weak o line . 30 million WR for a 60 catch guy. Man, bad move and signing. That WR room going to have zero leadership. Quote

You can argue it either way but it's not a bad non-move in my opinion 2 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That WR better be worth 25 plus mill a year or teams just ain’t interested. That’s all I got. The game is shifting to trenches and running the ball. The Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, Chargers, are all telling you this. Even Houston didn’t want him at that $ and they have cap room as well. 1 Quote

Maybe the Steelers will trade Pickens with DK in town? Or maybe the Saints Olave? Those are the only trade options I can think of. In the meantime I’m gonna bump the ole draft [many] WRs this year thread. Quote
