Homelander Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Ah yes, the 'country to save' from a self-inflicted mess. Don't worry, we'll all be watching in 2026 when you and your hero tries to blame everyone else for the wreckage. Should be a good show! 2
4th&long Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Nice job ***** up the economy trump. And we are supposed to care about tesla and Musk? What a clown show. 1
Big Blitz Posted March 17 Author Posted March 17 Year 4….its what’s been inherited. “Trump said he’s going to fix this on day 1!” He is. It’s in process. You’re a moron if you thought the problem of 15 days becoming indefinitely, here is 12 trillion to get you by, on top of 15 years of ZIRP, that this wasn’t going to take time. Not one Trump voter - most of whom voted for a variety of issues like never ever ever letting the people think there are more then 2 genders in power ever again - thought this was a quick fix. Even democrats know the day of reckoning is here. “Soft landing” was on par with 1929 Hoover speak.
4th&long Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Trump is the ozempic of the stock market. Down $5,000,000,000,000 in three weeks. 1
Andy1 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 In any economy you can pick out an indicator that isn’t good. The idiot above referencing commercial real estate being down is an example of this. Of course it’s down. A chunk of the country now works at home and everyone is shopping on the internet. By most standard measures, Trump inherited a very good economy which he is now in the process of destroying. 2

It would be nice to see some actual, you know, progress on the "fixing it" front. Because last I checked, his tariffs are making things much worse.

Instead her campaign was about "Joy" and "Democracy." I wonder why that didn't play well. She probably didn't call Trump a fascist enough times. 1

Just wait until the tariff-related job losses start to show up on reports.

If industry never left, (which rebuilt an adversary in China) , there wouldn't be a need for extensive tariffs.

Not the sharpest tools in the shed. plus his approval for economic policy is underwater. you're just making shyte up now. 1 1

My guess is that most trump voters know that he’s a moral disaster but voted their wallets. Or what they thought would help their wallets. He’s golfing instead of trying to help them. And actually making things worse with his idiotic tariffs. 1

Sadly that's not just a Republican issue but the state to which our politics has degraded

Doesn't matter to me. So much winning! 1

Long term it’s better that our disposable crap is made somewhere else by people working for terrible wages. Horrible, but true. Our population should be focused on creating and producing new technology and innovation - green energy, chips, AI, etc. Obviously tho administration and its use of early 20th century economic theory feel differently. 1
