pennstate10 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago 37 minutes ago, MrEpsYtown said: Ok so day two debrief...sorry kind of long, but here is what is on my mind...note that some of these guys may have signed while I was typing this.... WR: If we still want a speed guy, a lot of those guys are still on the market, but guys who could work: WR Rondale Moore - 4.32 (young with upside...he is short but he is thick, a little meatball of muscle...his highlights are fun) WR Elijah Moore - 4:35 WR Devin Duvernay - 4.39 (released so no comp pick impact) I really think they are going to roll with Rapp and Bishop, but... Safety: Justin Reid - good player - instant starter, probably too expensive Justin Simmons - old but been a Mahomes killer Julian Blackmon - They were in on him last year Marcus Epps - Josh's teammate at Wyoming would be a solid depth add Reyshawn Jenkins (he could be a sneaky add as he has connections to some of the staff here and he got released so no comp pick. versatile) to me Jenkins makes the most sense as a third guy... DL There are a bunch of D - line guys: A logjam of older vets who can get you a few sacks: Bosa, Preston Smith, Z'darius Smith, Donte Fowler... Other mid/interesting adds: John Cominsky - one guy the cover 1 dudes were talking about, he is like Hoect in that he is a small school dude who is versatile and can play all over the DL. Kentavius Street - another versatile guy who has ties to Ryan Nielsen James Lynch - a former Baylor Dave Aranda guy who has versatility across the front Young busts with maybe some upside: Payton Turner - bust, but young and has ties to Nielsen Joe Tryon - another bust who is young and maybe interesting Josh Uche - young bust with upside K'Lavon Chaisson - young bust, maybe some upside For 1 tech: Raekwon Davis - monster of a human who I liked at draft time who has not put it together. i'd take a shot. he was released so no comp pick Greg Gaines - fire hydrant NT formerly of the Rams and Bucs Leki Fotu - formerly of the Jets, another behemoth human Corner: Asante Samuel Jr...sound like they are in on him. he is excellent in zone, smallish, but I don't hate it Jonathan Jones - Former Pat whose coach is now here. Would be a stopgap guy, but can still ball and should be cheap Eric Stokes - Young, very fast, has had issues staying healthy. By all accounts, he was going to be their pick in the 2021 draft. Jeff Okudah - overdrafted, but young and fast and still has upside Benjamin St-Juste - Big long corner who has some experience in a similar system playing for Ron Rivera Kristian Fulton- Another young with upside guy RB: Hopefully we can bring back Ty, but I am assuming Ty is gone, we need a new third down back: Travis Homer - really good on third downs, similar size and speed to Ty, he blocks. Really good on special teams Kenneth Gainwell - from the Eagles, versatile and does a lot of things well Raheem Blackshear - former Bills UDFA, he was not tendered by the Panthers, but he was pretty good in a third down role. No comp pick impact That what I got for the day! Good post. really think Ronde Moore could be a good fit. Also, some of those DL young busts sound intriguing. Would you have any pictures? 1 1 Quote

He's pretty much what we all think we need. He's gotten a lot better since his Jets days. Check out Rondale Moore if you have some time. He was traded for Desmond Ridder last year and missed all of 2024. He's like a buy low dollar general version of Elijah Moore, just thicker. He got hurt in August so he should be close to ready. 1 1 Quote
KentuckyBillsFan Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'd rather just draft a WR than someone like Elijah Moore or Rondale Moore Those are future Trent Sherfields, Jamison Crowders, etc.. Quote

I’m sorry but that’s somewhat unacceptable to me. Those are core pieces that make big plays. I get that you don’t want to pay more than they’re essentially worth but…. You better make a big splash on defense like trade for Trey Hendrickson if you’re gonna let quality players like that walk. Losing Ty Johnson and Mack Hollins is not the reason you send high draft assets to get a pass rusher lol You can find a Ty Johnson or Mack Hollins replacement on day 3 of the draft. It's really not a big deal. 2 1 Quote

Could see him brought in ala Isabella this past year. 2 Quote

I think he played almost 50/50 outside and slot his whole career. 1 1 Quote

And look at who his QBs have been his entire career. Watsonz Winston, DRT, Zach Wilson, a little Flacco (who he looked really good with). He could be a good get. https://x.com/HolderStephen/status/1899459951438770678?t=QP5qV9vQLxqi2HQo8zFUNg&s=19 Danny Dimes deciding between the Colts and Vikings. Very interesting. I think he would have a shot at beating Anthony Richardson for the starting spot in Indy. And if not, he's almost sure to see some play time. But in Minnesota, he could take another full season under O'Donnell and try and rehab his value if McCarthy isn't full ready. 1 Quote

Outside, slot, running back, some wildcat too. I think he's and interesting weapon, my major concern is the injury. But should be very cheap as a flyer. 2 Quote

I think signing 1 more vet WR makes a ton of sense with the Cooper/Hollins departure. Maybe internally the Bills are way higher on Samuel returning to form than most of us are, but some competition in that room would be nice. 1 Quote

I think we need another outside receiver with speed, we fund him in the draft. Quote
