Danielle Hunter getting huge $

Trey Hendrickson still hasn’t reached a deal with Cincy.  Call them again.

Call the Steelers too. TJ Watt will be looking for $$$

I like the idea someone proposed of calling the Jags for Walker.

Make something happen.

Could Cincy realistically pay him at this point? Idk with all the $ in QB WR1 WR2

I would look to trade a pick somewhere for a young guy who is now blocked because of what his team did in free agency.

I mentioned trying to get Alex Austin back from the Pats, coaching changes etc and he is basically a 3/4 corner there where I would be excited to have him starting here opposite Benford over guys like Jackson. This seems unlikely, but it's something I would pursue.

How about JuJu Brents? He has had issues staying on the field, but he has flown down the depth chart in Indy, and there was also a defensive coaching change there. I am not sure he is a great fit for the scheme there now. He was already behind Kenny Moore and Jaylon Jones, and they added Charvarius Ward and Corey Ballentine. He seems like a guy who badly needs a change of scenery, and I always like his fit here. Brents is a slower corner at 4.53 with ridiculously long arms and a crazy 3 cone. I'd give them what we got for Kair.

Maybe Jacksonville's Montaric Brown or Jarrian Jones? Seems like they are making changes there.

Just some ideas to try and get guys who maybe could use a change of scenery. I would love to get our hands on Brents. He was made to play in the McDermott scheme.

has had previous suspension and off field concerns.  Beane after being humiliated....no way was he doing it

Better going with a guy that has issues in the rearview than one that has a current problem.

He would be a good option to round out the WR room. 4.35 forty. Put up about 60 catches and 500-600 yards in each of two seasons with mostly Watson throwing the ball. Only 24 years old, so if he comes cheap, then it’s almost like adding a draft pick for free.

I think he makes a ton of sense because he adds and interesting dynamic to the offense that isn't quite present.

I have fallen into the trade for young vets who have fallen down the depth chart/fallen out of favor trap and the two guys who make sense the most to me are Julius Brents and Jalin Hyatt. And so I will sit alone on this hill and wait and see if anything happens with those guys. It's more likely that their teams will go into camp to see what they have, but if I am the Bills, with ten draft picks I would be willing to sacrifice a couple of picks to add those two guys who are still younger than some of the guys in this draft class.

It’s funny because I thought about the same idea for Alex Austin especially since everytime I see him on the field he looks like he’s doing some good things. Not as a starting option but CB 3 for sure

It would be worth giving a 6th just to bring Hyatt to training camp and see if he can be a real vertical threat

In the last 2 drafts, the Bills used the 25th pick and 33rd pick on Kincaid and Coleman. They combined for 73 receptions, on 132 targets for 1.004 yards and 6 TDs. That’s abysmal. They EACH should be doing that!! For context, rookie Brian Thomas Jr. caught 83 of 133 targets for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs.

Let’s compare a team with multiple receiving options vs a bad team. 2 guys drafted late first or early 2nd vs 1 wr in draft on a bad team. And both players were injured vs a full season. Your context has a lack of context 😆

We make so many excuses for our guys!! Do you think, if you gave Beane truth serum, and he could go back to either of those drafts he would have gone up for Kincaid and settled on Coleman?!? No chance, and they are still trying to make up for those mistakes.

Kincaid was the 25th pick in his draft and Thomas the 23rd (4th WR drafted). Kincaid is WAY more of a big slot than a TE. Maybe that changes based on Beane’s postseason comments, but he was brought here to be a dynamic pass catcher. FWIW, Kincaid didn’t even outperform Thomas’ teammate at TE last year (not even close the year before). You need to get to the level of Evan Engram before you can think about the elite players. Imagine what Engram or Thomas could do with Josh Allen and this OL??

Coleman caught 10 of the 29 balls thrown his way when he returned! Why the excuses? Why can’t we just say, “that’s atrocious?” As of today, he looks like the 7th-10th best 2nd year WR. That’s where he was drafted so it’s to be expected. The question becomes, “with a massive need at WR, how did you not move up or draft someone better?” You could have made a small trade up for Thomas, stood pat and taken Worthy or taken the trade that you made and picked McConkey. Because of how much the Bills neglected the position last year after the trade, they HAD to do better than trading down twice for Keon Coleman. The Bills acted as if they would be “good enough.” I hold both of those guys to the standard at by those drafted around them.

Kincaid is going to be 26 years old this season. He doesn’t have a lot of growth ahead. They traded up and drafted him to be one of the best pass catching TEs in football. He looks like a “guy” that can’t stretch the field as they hoped.

Coleman was very raw coming out by all accounts. With a desperate need at the top of the depth chart, how could you take the most polarizing receiving prospect in the draft? You took a guy that’s never been able to separate and needed him to produce immediately. That’s a massive mistake. Can he improve? Sure. Should we expect him to ever get near Thomas or Worthy or McConkey? No. We should hope for it but we shouldn’t expect it based on what he put on tape. He’s the exact player that the scouting report said, “physical with the ball in the air, can run after the catch and never has 2 inches of space.” He becomes a guy that makes some plays but can’t ever be the focal point of an offense with that efficiency. I hold the Bills to a higher standard.

Thing that pisses me off the most about Kincaid was not how he was used last season. It was his drops. Unacceptable. Right down to our last play , right in his bread basket.

If he had the same drop rate and been healthy he still would have had 60-70 grabs.

He had a terrible season.

I think some folks are dead set on on evaluating a successful TE on the grounds he gets 100 catches. Even Schoop was reinventing his rookie year as some failure, when it was one of the top rookie TE years on record.  Yes, he was not Bowers....an easy outlet on a bad team with no other options.

The folks writing him off are not sound though. I believe he is a good player who will bounce back, but time will tell.

For context, he had 6 drops last year for a rate of 8%, those 6 drops actually game in 3 games. 4 drops for 4.4% the year prior.

He did have 2 in the playoffs for a rate of 22%. 1 drop the previous post season.
