Couple of moves involving DBs:  Philly traded CJ Gardner-Johnson to Texans (for G Kenyon Green) and Kristian Fulton signed with KC.

Still waiting for us to make a move for a starting caliber CB2.  Based on our past history with rookies, I assume the CB we draft won’t be starting this year (for better or worse).

Title should be changed then.

Playing devil's advocate here a bit....

But isn't talking about the fact that this thread has a lot of side conversations and distracting....its own side conversation adding to the distraction? 🤔😂😂

How dare you tease these rumor starved boys with such a tasty morsel. How could they have resisted!?

You're right... That was immature of me.

I'll do better.

I did find a site with some interesting rumors ... Including one on another WR

Nope, get younger.  Take some chances in draft.  Enough of these old dudes on the edge.

Need the DT with the 1st pick.  Also need secondary.  They are not going to get a premier DE in the draft anyway.

At least that's how it's starting to look to me.

I know this is usually taboo in the NFL and they can't really do anything yet anyways but if the Ravens low tender Ar'Darius Washington I think I'd offer him a contract. He's an undrafted guys so if he gets tendered at the lowest amount he wouldn't cost the Bills any draft capital. He's also a safety which I'm not sure they would go after either

We are likely going to carry 10 dlineman. 5DT and 5DE. With the signing yesterday I think we are probably done with vet dline unless we can make a trade from Hendrickson. We will likely sign a vet DT and then draft a DE and DT early. I wouldn’t be surprised with a 1 year deal for Calais Campbell.

DE: draft pick epenesa solomon

3T: oliver Campbell carter

1T: jones draft pick

DE: Groot hoecht

use test of FA for corner and saftey

We have three picks in first two rounds.  You can take a DT in the 2nd, same with CB.

Agree. But why not do both? Bring back Floyd for a year and grab his replacement in the draft.

Just a waste of money or draft pick to constantly have some inactive.  We aren't carrying 6 DEs.

There are 4 on this roster already.

And what about injury?

Having extra pass rushers in the pipeline is NEVER a waste of money.

What are the odds they draft a player that will make an impact?

Probably a lot better than the odds of you posting something positive about the team.

What about being aggressive in free agency and get some high end talent to get to a Super Bowl and maybe win one.

The last time I looked, kidnapping is illegal.   A team can't kidnap a player's family to force him to sign a contract with the Bills.  For example, Devante Adams wanted to play on the West Coast, so as a FA, he made a deal with the Rams.

Moreover, if you would stop wallowing in negativity and paid attention to what was going on with teams and players in the last three days or so, you would know that many of the very best players likely to become FAs chose to re-sign with their current teams.  It's been remarked upon repeatedly in the media and on TSW, including Godwin turning down a much bigger deal to re-sign with the Bucs.

I'm spitballing again but with the Vikings signing John Allen and Javon Hargrove, I wonder if Buffalo could guage interest on Harrison Phillips. His contract is reasonable though and the Vikings have the space so I dont know how realistic it would be.
