jaybeezee Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Stop hoping and wishing. This GM has shown you all over the years that he doesn't go after really good players that are proven. He picks his free agents like he does his draft picks..... projects, usually either old, or dudes who were JAGs. He drafts the same way, projects that we hope pan out, but imo we don't develope our draft picks that well either. 1 3 1 Quote

Money is obviously most important but there are many other factors. But yeah keep trashing Beane for every move he didn't make that you have no idea if was even possible. 1 1 1 Quote

We develop many into solid/good players. I don’t have numbers but I’d bet that he has one of the best track record for players drafted still in the nfl. 1 Quote

Even with a trade up, we're still not going to get a "blue chip" type player. Not to say whomever we get can't become one of those. But with what we need to do, or should be doing, with the DL (replacing AJ Epenesa and Daquan Jones on the starting line and needing at least two more, up to 4 for rotation combined for both spots) - we shouldn't JUST be relying on the Draft. Especially where we're picking. Edited 19 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 2 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Feels like we have one splash move still to come. Albert Breer in an article this morning said we made an offer for Myles Garrett and that we planned on making a run at Tee Higgins if he wasn't franchised. Also FWIW I heard earlier today that we were in on Metcalf, just not willing to match or beat Pittsburgh's offer. So Beane had a splash move earmarked for this offseason. But the potential splash move options are dwindling. Right now we're down to trading for Trey Hendrickson or signing Jevon Holland. Unless I'm missing someone? 3 1 Quote

So I’ve watched you complain the last couple of days, and perhaps I have missed this next part, but I haven’t really seen you offer solutions. Forgive me if you have, but what have you offered other than general solutions. Yes, we all know they need help along the line, but who specifically? If you say Sweat (for example), how do you know the Bills didn’t offer anything? The reality is there aren’t really any difference makers in this year FA 3 1 Quote
