This is a good point.  I think someone else said this earlier, but how many times have we seen apparent studs playing to win a Super Bowl...on a stacked team...look even close to that when they're playing on a team not so talented.

 

Addiitionally, all these big signings for big money are by teams that don't have much talent to begin with.  So they need to sign free agents.  That's why they are paying so much for mediocre talent.
