I tend to agree as I am happy with Dalton so far and if he stays healthy hopefully really breaks out. But Pat was a late 2nd round pick, and Dalton obviously a 1 we traded up for. Plus Pat has played with garbage QBs and Dalton is playing with the MVP. So point taken, but I do think that those differences are significant. 1 Quote

Ill say +9 yards per target the past two years aint nothing either. Happy for him to be that efficient on 60 targets here. That puts him right behind Coleman and Cooper last year which is where I would expect him as an X receiver. Agree Josh/Brady > Herbert/Harbaugh 2 1 Quote

stlbills13 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Houston definitely had too good of an offensive line 3 Quote

Reading between the lines of things McBeane has said - seems like Taylor Rapp and Cole Bishop are the starters they want. Might see a cheaper vet as insurance. But I'm not expecting anything Chinn level. Though I'd be here for it. Cornerback is the thing i'd expect they'd target, with the Draft being deep in DL and having a massive hole at CB. Charvarius Ward is the next name I'll be saying "f-ck!" to if/when he's announced signing elsewhere. Edited 21 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 2 2 Quote

All these guys Milton, Sweat , Slay all benefited from playing with elite players around them . They weren’t the players that stirred the drink Agreed. AJE gets 6 sacks playing next to scrubs like Jefferson and Phillips on our line. He’s have like 15 on that eagles line. (I think sweat only ended up with 8 himself). Quote

We are always good team, but people act like we're great. Great is getting to the show, elite is winning. Good is just going to the playoffs and many on this board are content with playoff births and second round exits. I agree with that. I don't really even agree that we've been "in the mix" every year. We got blown out in 2021 and 2023, the 13 seconds game year we still would have needed the offense to put up gaudy games for us to win the SB because that D was going to give it up big, just like 2024 and I don't know if we could've hung in there with the Eagles with our defense either this year, but you never know in the SB at least. But overall I don't think we've been on the doorstep that often over these past few years, that's kind of a narrative a lot of fans here have created. 1 Quote
