At this point barring a huge trade, I’d be good if we add Palmer and Ward as two new pieces. Addresses WR and CB, allowing Beane to focus on DE, DT and S in draft.

Don't like the Palmer signing at all.  He has played with a very good QB with the Chargers (Herbert) and has not done much.  I don't get this one.

Im glad we didn’t sign Sweat. All these guys Milton, Sweat , Slay all benefited from playing with elite players around them . They weren’t the players that stirred the drink

A guy I think would fit in well here as a depth piece, and not have a huge $$$ tag, is Darrell Taylor. He had 9.5 sacks for Seattle one year and is only about to be 28. He would essentially replace Smoot.
