Where I disagree is that DK is not elite in my book.  Sure, I would have liked to have him, and was banging the drum to draft him, and he is a good player, but I would never use the word "elite" with him.  And $33M a year for a guy not even in the top 10 is way too much IMHO.

Most importantly, we just fielded the 16th best offense in NFL history...Allen had his best season and first MVP season as a pro, we were a ref screw job away from a SB despite the pathetic showing of our defense again.  And we did that all without an over paid bloated WR contract who has a limited route tree.

What DK does best for this team is create a vertical threat...but we don't need to spend $33M a season to get a vertical threat here.  End of the day, the meat of this offense and what it does best isn't what DK brings to the table.  Make no mistake about it, we do need to add a vertical threat...but I do not for a second feel like it had to be DK even though I was all for adding DK, just not at the cost it eventually became.

There are some guys in the draft, all gettable guys, who I really like...so I am not going into today thinking we are screwed because we didn't over pay for DK.  I also still like someone such as Slayton or even fine bringing Cooper back as long as its paired with drafting someone too.

Let me clarify. I meant an elite vertical threat. He's also had as much as 1300yds, and double digit TDs twice, with I would say average QB play. With Allen, you could almost bank on career highs. Overall,I don't disagree with you, but I would like to see us go all in on Allen. Why not surpass what we did last year.

Slay, Pickens, Metcalf, Friermuth. Steelers have weapons but it will come down to their QB.

Yep, missing the most important piece and with Fields gone, they don't have a ton of options left. None that look great anyway.

The are pushing their chips all in

They do that every offseason. They would be better off having a down year to reset their cap and roster, but you have to respect an organization that does everything it can to compete every year.

Oh. My.  Goodness.

wow.

Milton Williams seems like the next pretty good player to turn a great superbowl performance into a huge contract. Like:

Alvin Harper

Larry Brown

Dexter Jackson

Harper and Brown came to mind for me when I saw the Milton numbers.

The bills posted interviews and pics of the extensions today.  I'm thinking that is all we see today from OBD

From the overpay numbers I have seen, I am fine with that.

I just spent a half hour of my free time cleaning up political trash in a politics free forum.

The next muther****** that brings that shlt in here is going straight out the door right behind the asshats that have already been tossed.

Instead of moon ball with Wilson, they can play moon ball with Rodgers and chuck it up and pray DK or Pickens catch it I guess.

Pat Freiermuth has 22 more receiving yards than Dalton Kincaid in the same number of games, and yet to people here Kincaid is a bust and Freiermuth is an elite weapon.

Do they?
