Makes you wonder if Beane feels this Free Agent group is weaker compared to prior years.

 

If the Bills can hit in the draft that is heavy with defensive players, it will significantly help them both in the short term and long term. What we can ill afford is to whiff on our early draft picks!

Yes sir!  I have said Beane is MUCH better at FA than draft.  There is talent out there at DE, DT, CB and Safety that fans will go "Meh" on that can pan out great for us this year.  I actually applaud Beane for not jumping into this mess yet

Sadly I think the Pats going to 26 million per year making MW the 3rd highest DT may hint on how the feel with Barmore future.

Beane is doing what he's always doing which is working on the guys he's actually working on while his ship doesn't leak, so the only way we'd hear about it is if it came from the other side.

This is my conundrum with Beane. His record for 1st and 2nd rounders isn't sterling, Esp. his DL and WR picks. DL is drastically what we need right now

I don’t think we did the Rousseau deal, cut Von and redid Allen’s contract just to sign some mid-level guys.

I just can’t imagine we don’t do at least one thing that constitutes a “swing”.
