Not being able to be in on Darnold and Rodgers really limits the pool.

How funny would it be for them to go after Darnold again? 

 

Moving on from him destroyed their franchise. They forced the Zach Wilson pick, and some truly special players went early in that draft. They could have kept Darnold and drafted Jamar Chase or Micah Parsons, or Penei Sewell or Patrick Surtain and could have skipped this terrible Rodgers experience. 

 

Then they took Elijah Moore round 2 and passed on Landon Dickerson, Jevon Holland, Creed Humprhey...moving on from Darnold was an awful move for them. 

 

In theory they could have come away with Chase or Parsons or Sewell, plus Vera-Tucker and Dickerson or Humphrey.

Grateful to watch the "mediocre quarterback chase" in full swing, knowing we are not even remotely involved, ever.

Chase Young and Joey Bosa are the most "that never works... but it could work for us" players. If you knew they were playing 14+ games they will be value contracts but that is unlikely.   

 

That said, if either come to Buffalo to start vs GRoot I'd be all in immediately.

Id be very happy if the Jets sign Justin Fields and draft Sheduer Sanders… Very Jets kind of moves.
