The Browns said they weren't going to trade him,  he was still under contract.  What did you want him to do,, hold out for the next 2 seasons and become a free agent then?

If he really wanted out he could’ve done it, you get on tv or social media and dog them out , and act a clown, it can be done. But maybe that’s not who Garrett is, but to say he couldn’t get out is not true, we see players do it all the time. Diggs comes to mind.

At least it happened early in the offseason so the Bills can pursue other options full force and not hold out hope for a Garrett trade.

With that said, this is a good draft for needing DL and the Bills don’t have to reach for a terrible prospect like Basham.
