Here's hoping it means that have someone already lined up for a replacement Miller is old and slow, getting by on his experience. Getting rid of him finally admits the unfortunate swing and miss here. Quote

davefan66 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Surprised..not surprised. Kinda expected him to take a pay cut and sign. Never know, hey may still end up coming back at a reduced rate. Quote

It’s either play for pennies (for a contender, he’s not going to the Browns) or hang em up. That’s my point, I think it’s destined he’s going to be hanging them up at this point. Quote

It all fell apart when he blew his ACL. When Von was active before Thanksgiving 2022, the defense was getting home with 4 and looked great. If you’re someone who wants a Trey Henrickson this season, you can’t criticize this move. No you don’t - go watch the last Baltimore TD drive. You don’t want Solomon getting those reps I do want him getting snaps. draft two lineman and sign one veteran and put him out there in a rotation and I think he will be just fine. Quote
thenorthremembers Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago His signing will go down as one of the worst moves in Bills history. I truly believe signing him is part of the reason the Bills couldnt make moves to get over the hump the last few years. 2 2 Quote

billsfan89 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago When I heard Von was trying to work out a reworking of his contract I figured he would stay, but I guess it just wasn't going a way that made sense for both side. I thought Von had a nice 2024, he was far from dynamic player he was in 2022 prior to the injury but he was still a very good rotational DE. Quote
frostbitmic Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This means we're trading for Garrett right 🤑 I guess this means Odell Beckham Jr won't be coming here. Next man up at DE/EDGE ... Groot has one end locked up and Epenesa likely the other. Time to see what Solomon and or a day 1 or 2 Rookie can do. 1 Quote
SCBills Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago The dead cap we took on last year from Diggs and the dead cap we’re taking on this year from Von is brutal. Both correct decisions to move on from, but this further highlights why this offseason has to be a hit for Beane. 1 1 Quote

Every year we've screwed the pooch by hanging on to someone that is already done. Star, DQ, Von, not too mention scraping for Vets to fill in. I know last year wasn't doable with Von. I won't mention Tremaine. We....IMO, should maybe target Reed, D.J.Jones, above average anyway then draft Grant/Harmon and one later. Get a younger core built....with some kind of identity. I do believe an older vet or 2 is fine while we build, that's why I mentioned Reed. Give Reddick a 3 yr.(2) deal and give him Groot money plus incentives and bonus. Maybe draft one or 2 good ends. 1 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I think he’ll be brought back on an incentive heavy deal which would be great for us because he clearly has extra juice when those are within his reach Quote
billsfan714 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Thank god I wont have to read posts that he showed "flashes", which is just another way of saying he rarely did what we expected. 1 Quote

Miami has $30M, NYJ have $45M and the Eagles have $60M. 2 Quote
