He was the worst player on defense in the Baltimore game and a big reason why Lamar sliced right through the defense. I don’t think he’s ready but we’ll see 1 Quote

The free agents available are generally not difference makers. Trades are always a possibility, but I think the free agent pool, particularly in the areas that we have the greatest need, is weak. I disagree. NFL.com top 100 has a ton of above average CBs and Safeties...at least how I see it. Quote
jahnyc Posted Sunday at 05:59 PM Posted Sunday at 05:59 PM It would makes sense to focus on safety and CB in free agency and then use draft picks for the DL, since DL is supposedly the strongest group in this year's draft. 2 2 Quote

I would imagine the release hasn't been officially cleared yet so it is possible they can rework the deal. Similar to how the Jaguars released Kirk but then ended up trading him to the Texans. 1 Quote

Yep. Buffalo has six corners on contracts right now. andre Cisco and a corner then take the best players available in the draft. Quote
jahnyc Posted Sunday at 06:22 PM Posted Sunday at 06:22 PM I have a feeling the Bills will trade Elam, so maybe a starting CB in free agency and then draft a CB (or two) in the draft. 1 Quote

Mister Defense Posted Sunday at 06:25 PM Posted Sunday at 06:25 PM Will go down as Beane's worst move ever, one that undermined the team's potential. One of the highest payed players at his position and for the Bills, contributing as much as mid/low round draft pick. Overall a fan of Beane's, but broke his own rules for a shot in the dark at a huge cost. Could have had AJ Brown previously for roughly the same amount of money, a true game changer on this offense. Not looking at these things in hindsight, but how I saw things at the time of the trade. 1 2 2 2 Quote

Von was great and if not for his ACL, he finishes the year with 12+ sacks and probably makes a difference in the playoffs. 4 2 Quote

I mean, most here were thrilled when we made the move - it was aggressive, and addressed our area of biggest need. If you were opposed to it, I'd have to say that was in the minority opinion at that time. And he was great that 1st season until he got hurt. More bad luck than bad decision. 1 2 Quote

Is it even possible to bring him back and save even more money after having already released him? They will not bring him back, I hope that they don't. If the Bills need the most help on the D-Line, and many think they do, they should bring in a younger player who can play well and not just a few snaps a game. Miller offered very little last year, likely in the way of some player who could have helped more. Great career, one of the most disruptive defensive players I have ever seen play. But even if the cost is very low, the Bills need to get better at that position. Edited Sunday at 08:36 PM by Mister Defense Quote
