Snappysnackcakes Posted March 8 Posted March 8 This is just awesome. I met Reid at a grocery store in Texas a couple weeks ago. Seems he lives very close to me in the off-season. He wanted to come back and told me he made that clear to Beane and Coach. 4 years??? Even better so his kiddos will have more memories to create of their dad being an NFL player. 2 Quote
sven233 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 He's one of the best in the league at what he does.... Good signing and a positions we shouldn't have to worry about for a long time now. Good for him and good for us. 2 Quote
gobills404 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 But does this prevent us from getting Myles Garrett? 1 1 1 Quote

I was at lunch a while ago and the bartender tells me the lady at a table nearby just got back from seeing her son, a long snapper, play a very cold game in KC. It was Reid’s mother, but her other son was the LS for the Dolphins. What are the odds of having TWO sons in the NFL as long snappers? They found a cool little niche. 4 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Has there ever been a 50 YO long snapper? That's the one position could see it happening at. Quote
Doc Brown Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I guess Reid was tired of being "cut" wink wink parking lot deals. Quote

chris heff Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Didn’t Reid get into a tussle with an opponent this past season? I like a feisty long snapper. 1 1 Quote
somnus00 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 So I guess we're not trading for DePaola. It's Beane even trying to win the superbowl? What are we doing here? Quote

They're going to sign a high end DB and probably a mid level DT, WR, then trade for Garrett, he's not a big cap hit this year. 3 Quote
