If Beane doesn’t acquire Garrett or Metcalf, are you “so &*!%$ing done with this team?”

  1. 1. If Beane doesn’t acquire Garrett or Metcalf, are you “so &*!%$ing done with this team?”

    • Hell yes, Beane doesn’t understand what it takes to get over the hump
      10
    • Hell no, Beane has a plan and won’t mortgage the future for a splash player

    • Still supportive but disappointed, because I feel like they need one more proven “difference-maker” and can’t just rely on the draft

I recall hearing Metcalf's name being a potential draftee or suggested target for the Bills.

Correct, I remember sitting at my brother in law's house watching the draft that night.  Instead of Metcalf, Beane was seduced by the sheer athletic prowess and football acumen of Cody Ford

I'm never done with the Bills as long as it has Buffalo in front of the name

For anyone that says yes, don't let the door hit you in the wayout chump!

No because I'm not a child. But I will still say he needs to find alternative ways / do a better job of adding more elite talent to the roster.

Agreed, that's the point of the third option.  Just wanted to see what people would say.

Its not a video game. You can't just "get them". There's another team plus an agent and player involved. Of course most of us would love acquiring one of them or both. Enough of this posture though, its really ignorant.

ford was a slow footed fat body with no athletic chops outside of being huge.  he did play for a top flight team and offense tho, and was well coached and somewhat polished offensive blocking skills.

spencer brown was the most 180 a pick can get from ford.  tiny nothing school, actually didn't play for a year because the program shut for covid, raw in his technique, but an adonis of a jacked yeti, more titan than human form.  he was either the top or top 2 RAS for an offensive lineman talent they ever measured at the time.

No, because if reporting is correct, Myles Garrett is trying to get a meeting to force his way out from ownership that refuses to trade the guy and is ducking him.

If they don’t add a top 100 overall player, it’s a bad offseason.

Yeah, the judgement of the offseason moves isn't totally dependent on the two listed.  Need to see the prices/cost of the players and what Beane brings in.  Make no mistake I would love to see either/both Garrett and DK come here.

But if Green Bay gives a 1st and Doubs for DK, and Wash gives up 3 1st's and makes Garrett the highest paid non-QB, I will understand.  Beane could still bring in a C Kupp or D Adams or D Slayton along with T Hendrickson or K Mack or J Bosa and a S and/or CB, and draft a DT.

….but he couldn’t turn.  😊

This draft is supposed to be a strong one as far as DL go. If Beane can't acquire one through a trade, then he better hit a HR in the draft. Lack of pass rush as well as stopping the run is a big reason the Bills haven't been to and/or won a Super Bowl.
