  1. 1. If Beane doesn’t acquire Garrett or Metcalf, are you “so &*!%$ing done with this team?”

    • Hell yes, Beane doesn’t understand what it takes to get over the hump
      9
    • Hell no, Beane has a plan and won’t mortgage the future for a splash player
      90
    • Still supportive but disappointed, because I feel like they need one more proven “difference-maker” and can’t just rely on the draft

It will not affect my life or support for the Bills one bit whatsoever and if it does yours you should really examine your mental state.

I think a lot depends on what ultimately is the deal these guys move for.

It’ll be hard to give Beane flack for not grossly overpaying — not many fans would want him to bankrupt our draft capital for just one or two guys. But if some of these players get moved for anything that’s reasonable value or less? Pitchforks going to come fast and fierce lol.

This right here.

Let's say Metcalf gets moved for a third and conditional 4th (not likely, but an extreme example) then yes I would be pretty PO'd he wouldn't exceed that. If DK goes for a 1st and 2  2 ends? Nah nothing you can do with that.

I don’t really want Metcalf to be honest. Overpriced for a one trick pony at WR. But Garrett!! I’m not usually a go big on D guy when we should be supporting Josh with weapons but I’d give up a good amount for him

I recall hearing Metcalf's name being a potential draftee or suggested target for the Bills.

It was iirc.  I had a big draft crush on him when he came out and was shocked when he fell to the bottom of the second.

I wouldn't say that I'm done, but the bloom is starting to fade. This is obviously better than the drought but to date, they've only built an also-ran that can't close the deal. There are plenty of teams like that historically and I don't want to be one. The late 80s early 90s Oilers come to mind. Great teams, won a lot, could never get it done in January. People here seem to act like Allen getting to a Super Bowl eventually is inevitable. It is absolutely not and Beane and McDermott need to clean up their own mistakes and do a better job if getting those last couple pieces they need and they need to do it soon.

Mix of 2@3. There’s so many variables, I’d be disappointed if they didn’t try to acquire Garrett, but has to be a good deal for everyone (or at least the bills 😁).

The defense as a whole has to make a big jump. If the scheme only works with ideal players it’s probably a bad scheme. That being said, the talent is middling.

Personally, I don’t want anything to do with Metcalf but I’d love to see Garrett become a Bill. So 50/50 for me

I kind of agree with this take as I see it, if Buffalo signs the guy there will be every opponent going forward wanting to take him out of the equation. Double team, triple teamed and jammed at the line. Worth 30 Million per? Plus he drops passes, limited in certain areas... only good for a few routes. Penalties! Sheesh!

Whereas Miles Garrett is a generational talent.

I'll leave it to Beane and his scouts to figure out the best course for this team. They have been close in losing to the Chiefs by 3 points in each of the last two games.

I would relish the Buffalo Bills fielding a defense like the Eagles did to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

Might be in the minority, but the number 1 guy I hope the bills get is Trey Hendrickson.

Guy is an absolute animal and you don't have to sell the farm like if you were to get Garrett. (In saying that, i definitely wouldn't be mad if the bills did sell the farm to get Garrett lol)

Metcalf doesn't really interest me too much. Diva receiver who is going to want a massive contract extension

I was done with this team years ago- not because I stopped caring or rooting for them…But because I have made my peace, that regardless of what they do or don’t do, I just don’t ever see them winning a superbowl…

But I will still enjoy watching them every Sunday, and being anazed by the super human that is Josh Allen…👍

This isn't just a Beane question. It's a Pegula question.

Bringing in a $30m player is going to require Pegula to cut some big checks to push out cap space. He's currently choking on an $800m stadium shortfall. What's that going to be in a year? $1b? 1.2? That's a lot, even for a very rich man.

I'm worried about tight purse strings limiting options.
