Hard to say. Happening more in pro sports these days though.

 

In hockey, Bruins traded Carlo to Toronto and Marchand to Florida. (Two division rivals) Also Christian Kirk got traded from jags to Houston 

 

Bills are definitely an afc rival to your point, but it's not like the bengals would be trading him to Baltimore or Pittsburgh

I just read that Hendrickson turned down an offer from Cincy that was between 30 and 32 million.

 

Who is going to trade for him when he wants that kind of money?  What kind of draft pick could they even ask for in this situation?

He led the league in sacks and two other guys just got 40M per year. He thinks he worth that.

i am just asking who would give up a premium pick knowing you have to turn around and sign a deal with him that is north of 32 million.  
 

I did see a packers beat writer speculate that a 2025 third rounder and young player could get it done.

 

the bills could offer a 2026 third rounder.

Don’t get me wrong, we need an elite level pass rusher, but not at this cost for a guy his age.  (2 of our better young players).

I would imagine a team would be willing to give him the money or close it. But the draft pick is likely to not be that amazing maybe a 3rd round pick or a 2nd swapped for a 4th or so.
