Roundybout Posted Thursday at 08:18 PM Posted Thursday at 08:18 PM Gut feeling is this is posturing for a new contract. Still! 3 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted Thursday at 08:21 PM Posted Thursday at 08:21 PM Get it done Beane!! (I just wanted to be the first to post it for once.) 4 6 3 Quote
Magox Posted Thursday at 08:25 PM Posted Thursday at 08:25 PM His sack totals are insane and he does Have I believe the most sacks over the past two years. He’s one of the top 6 I’d say. He’s 30 years old, and has 1 year left on his contract at a very affordable $18m . I’m guessing he would want a 3 year extension of at least $100M, maybe even more. I think he could be had for a 2nd and 4th. Tempting 1 Quote

In all seriousness though I do wonder what it would take. His age has to hurt his value although you gotta think he has two, maybe three top years left. 1 Quote
Virgil Posted Thursday at 08:28 PM Posted Thursday at 08:28 PM (edited) Him or Garrett works for me. This guy knows Mahomes as good as anyone. Being 30 isn’t great though. I would think the Bengals would want to resolve this situation soon, so they can make choices about Higgens. This is already turning into a somewhat crazy offseason with about of bigs names being released or traded on the trade block. Edited Thursday at 08:30 PM by Virgil 1 3 Quote

DJB Posted Thursday at 08:30 PM Posted Thursday at 08:30 PM Now we have Garrett, Hendrickson and DK available Beane HAS to bring in one of these guys or we can likely just expect the same . We need an elite difference maker 5 Quote
Mat68 Posted Thursday at 08:31 PM Posted Thursday at 08:31 PM Of all the names this has been the most realistic. Id prefer him over a WR. Cincy is keeping guys to make Burrow happy and cutting corners on defense. 3 2 Quote
HappyDays Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM I can't imagine Cincy trading him to an AFC contender. 1 8 Quote

GreenMtnBillsFan Posted Thursday at 08:34 PM Posted Thursday at 08:34 PM I'd love Garrett as much as the next guy, but I would be pretty pumped if Beane was able to pull off a deal here. Hendrickson, Rousseau, another FA (Epenesa is also fine as a DE3/4) and a draft pick would be a solid group. 2 1 Quote

Sounds like a 2nd would get it done. What I like about Hendrickson is he's a complete a**hole of a player. I hate playing against him because he plays dirty. And we need some of that nastiness on the roster. But ultimately Cincy will have multiple options and since they control the destination I have to think they'll ship him out of conference if at all possible. Washington makes a lot of sense.
