Have I believe the most sacks over the past two years.  He’s one of the top 6 I’d say.  He’s 30 years old, and has 1 year left on his contract at a very affordable $18m .   I’m guessing he would want a 3 year extension of at least $100M, maybe even more.

 

I think he could be had for a 2nd and 4th.

Him or Garrett works for me.  This guy knows Mahomes as good as anyone.  Being 30 isn’t great though.  
 

I would think the Bengals would want to resolve this situation soon, so they can make choices about Higgens. 
 

This is already turning into a somewhat crazy offseason with about of bigs names being released or traded on the trade block.

Of all the names this has been the most realistic.  Id prefer him over a WR.  Cincy is keeping guys to make Burrow happy and cutting corners on defense.

I'd love Garrett as much as the next guy, but I would be pretty pumped if Beane was able to pull off a deal here. Hendrickson, Rousseau, another FA (Epenesa is also fine as a DE3/4) and a draft pick would be a solid group.

Don't get me wrong I'd be happy with trading for Hendrickson if Metcalf falls through. Sounds like a 2nd would get it done. What I like about Hendrickson is he's a complete a**hole of a player. I hate playing against him because he plays dirty. And we need some of that nastiness on the roster. But ultimately Cincy will have multiple options and since they control the destination I have to think they'll ship him out of conference if at all possible. Washington makes a lot of sense.
