Nephilim17 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Saves a chunk of dough and we signed a younger punter who, I think, was drafted in the 4th so high upside. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Yea no surprised he was better last year but not great. Camarda plus some camp competition 2 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Hopefully we go sign Punt God back...oh wait... Too soon? Quote
davefan66 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 And….it starts. Like Martin. Was a reliable guy, but could improve. 2 Quote
Doc Brown Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I thought he was pretty good last year and I liked the stability of him holding for Bass. However, I am aware he is just a punter. 3 Quote
Charles Romes Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) A little surprising, he was actually great. The contrast between Martin and what araiza was doing - bashing it through the end zone every kick was stark. Edited March 6 by Charles Romes 3 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Not shocking, a pretty good punter at a pretty high price. Draft a guy late and you may improve while saving money. 1 Quote

Think back to the last 10 years ... who was better? Matt Haack? Corey Bojorquez? Colton Schmidt? Shawn Powell? He had a few beautiful punts last year inside the 5 yard line and some boomers too. It was a money thing. Correct move, but he wasn't a bad punter. 2 8 Quote
turbo044 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 We'll probably draft a punter late too. We have a ton of picks. 1 Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) Camarda is only 25, was looking like one of the best young punters, and then had some struggles. He punts and kicks off. He's also super athletic...actually ran a faster 40 than Keon...but who didn't? amirite? Anyway, there are a few interesting free-agent names if they want to go with an older vet but they can draft one as well. Edited March 6 by MrEpsYtown 1 1 5 Quote
