Good points. I'd like to see hollins back and I know we need boundary.  I thought both Kirk and Lockett played on the outside?

That would be nice

Sign Slayton and draft a couple. That's all we need.  Also hope Hollins is back.

Beane should avoid anyone over 28. We need to build a young roster. Hit on some picks, maybe pick a couple going into their 2nd contract etc.

Kirk lined up in the slot 76.8% of the time in slot last year. By contrast thought Lockett was more a slot guy cuz of his past but only 27.1% of the time last year.

I think Shakir has the slot locked up and Kirk is already on the roster. His name is Curtis Samuel.

Just doesn't seem like a proper fit, Bills have two quality slot options in Shakir (one of the best slot WR's in the league) and Samuel. Bills need a WR capable of playing consistently on the boundary. DK would be perfect of course that's gonna come at a cost of draft and cap capital but if a dynamic defensive player isn't on the market at a reasonable price and given that this is a deep defensive line draft class perhaps it is better to trade for DK and solidify the offensive and then tackle the defense with a mid-tier CB via free agency and going heavy in the draft.

He is on the wrong side of 33...........

TO was 36 when he set the Buffalo Bills franchise record for longest TD pass (98) yards. Still stands although now tied with Big Play Gabe.

So let’s sign a bunch of random has been 33 year old receivers?   One long completion is not really a good measure.  TO probably didn’t average 50 yards a game if you take away that play.

Who said anything about signing a "bunch" of over the hill WRs.  My point was that going just by age may not be the best judgement.  His production was down the last couple of years which also corresponds to the exit of Russell Wilson.  Seattle has gone to a dink 'n dunk offense with a QB whose long ball is not his strength.  Maybe that had something to do with his production?  Worth a closer look than his age IMHO.

PRIME Lockett (2018-2022) would be the PERFECT addition (considering cost x skillset x fit).

CURRENT Lockett could still potentially add value, but would most likely mirror Emmanuel Sanders' 2021 season production/impact. Not totally spent, but only impactful in a few games. They'd be about the same age, coming off similarly productive FA seasons. Lockett's prime production IS more recent than Sanders' was when the Bills signed him, so who knows. But bringing in Lockett would have to be simply to fortify the BOTTOM of the WR depth chart on a team friendly deal.
