He's going to be 33 when the season starts.  Not sure that is worth the effort to get him and Josh in sync.

Now Christian Kirk is available as well.  Definitely worth conversations. Wonder if we are going to see more WR hit the market.  That is good for us

These last two are a slot guys. Yes more WR options for other teams to pursue. To me Cooper or Slayton are guys we should pursue but address Dline and CB first. PS bring back Mack too.

The funniest skit on Jeremy and Joes show in the am is the Let’s get stupid bit.  My idea is we don’t need draft picks for Mack, just $, but not insane $ as he’s getting older.  We do need draft picks for Garrett and Metcalf.  What if we extend JA, restructure, everyone meaning Dawkins, Knox, amd others to create space and release Miller.

 

So yes, it’s stupid, but Mack and Garrett and Metcalf with Shakir, and Coleman and one of the two TE’s, and no way the Chiefs beat us again.  Let the contract finish upon GROOT and maybe Mack is just a one year rental.  Extend him next year.

 

I know I sound like the guy I always criticize on not Madden, but we can do it this year.

Not being an impact player would actually make him a solid fit in our WR room. 

 

But I'm still hoping for someone better.

Lockett is a definite no. His production has fallen off a cliff. He's lost a step or 3. I dont see how he helps this team. When we need guys with some speed & separation out there.

DK Metcalf requested a trade. He'd be more of what we need than Lockett imho.

Him, Wilson, and rodgers should just join the ufl at this point. in fact, it should be a law passed by congress that

 anyone who is past their prime should be delegated to the UFL and banned from the nfl.

Good points. I'd like to see hollins back and I know we need boundary.  I thought both Kirk and Lockett played on the outside?

Kirk lined up in the slot 76.8% of the time in slot last year. By contrast thought Lockett was more a slot guy cuz of his past but only 27.1% of the time last year.

Maybe the most underrated player in the league over the past decade, but probably not much left in the tank at this point…
