Adams seems like a weird dude. He has to play with very specific QBs (Rodgers or Carr), or has to go to a specific geographic region?

seems shortsighted. Maybe he should sign with a team where he will be a great fit and excel.

In free agency? Dyami Brown, Marquis Brown, or Darius Slayton.

Thanks. I realize there's not much to choose from. Slayton seems the best of the bunch, sort of a deep-ball version of Shakir in his reliability and lack of star quality. In that sense, he'd fit right in. Brown might be the best of the bunch, but he's always injured. Plus, he's small, and McDermott evidently doesn't want a smurf. Brown... He did well in they playoffs, but there is good reason for the Commanders to let him go. Seems like you could get the same or better production out of a fourth-rounder.

Do you agree with all that?

Dude can still play, but he's not someone I am focused on.  I want guys that a younger and have the potential to be more explosive for longer.

I don't know if the Jets are going full on rebuild, but if they are open to it, I would love to see Beane try to pry Garrett Wilson out of there.  If he's not an option, I want to see what someone like Olave would cost to trade for.  But these are the guys that I want to focus on.  Speed, elite route running that can beat man coverage, and guys that can stretch the field.

Time really is a flat circle.

Sweet, sweet popular culture reference. Love it.

Is it just me, or is this only fr True Detective, Season 1, the greatest TV production I've ever seen?

Otherwise, if it originated fr some ancient Thebes (whatever) philosopher, ignore and carry on...

Dyami Brown is more of lottery ticket, similar to the guy they signed from Miami a couple years ago. He has some potential.

Marquis Brown and Slayton are my top 2 free agent WRs for the Bills. Both offer high floors and breakout potential IMO. Slayton is my guy from the start. Shows high level of separation. Decent YAC, but most of all he has that ability to get behind a defense. I’ve been wanting to land him in Buffalo for a while, wanted them to trade for Slayton. I just love the fit.

I would also like the Bills to use a pick on a WR in the 2-4 range. I think they should do that every season.

Adams doesn’t offer anything to the offense IMO. He’ll be mostly a distraction. He’ll want 140 targets, mostly forced targets.

I'd call him and I'd definitely be happy to add him. But I don't see him as a fit.

It seems his wants are to play on the West Coast and/or play with Aaron Rodgers again. He also doesn't seem like the kind of guy Beane would want, given his sideline antics in Las Vegas when he wanted out. He's also trashed the Buffalo fan base in the past.

Given all of that, I'd be shocked if he ended up a Bill. But i'd be here for it.

Would he sign a one year deal to the tune of $8M, perhaps?

Considering he is coming off a 28m annual contract and before that a 20m annual contract - absolutely not. He's not getting either of those, but he's not going all the way down to 8m.

He's good, but he wont come here

Possibly New Orleans with buddy Derek Carr.

Actually , I don’t think he fits Bills culture.   I recall an interview last season where he said something like he didn’t care if his team won or lost as long as he could contribute.    Reading between the lines, did that mean that as long as he got his stats, he was happy?

Even a book detailing his first season with the Jets..........comes out waving the flag, 5 plays in and he's out for the season.

Epic

Let’s not talk about the results of that game. Yikes!

Usually attributed to Nietzsche. It's fitting that Rust would quote him.

Nope.  Defense.   Our offense was amazing.  If they are going to pay a lot for an older vet then Defense.   But then, von Miller.

If our Defense had given up 4 less points to KC in those playoff games we would have likely been in two super bowls with Josh.  2024 offense was amazing.
