If you went back in time 20 years and told me that the Democrat party would be the ones who didn't care about a cancer survivor and only clapped when an endless war was mentioned, I would have never guessed it.

No doubt the dems didn't do themselves any favors last night. But the fact remains trump is a lying hack who is a moron. He spewed a lot of bull *****. His honeymoon is over, there is only so long you can keep blaming Biden. He will still need to deliver, republicians need to deliver. All these culture war fights mean nothing, they don't help anybodys wallet. Sucking Putins dick, not a good look. He looks very weak.

It's odd that all of the resident dems are refraining from posting this morning.  It's amazing the hive mind approach they have.  They must all huddle at the DNC HQ until they get their marching orders.  Or, potentially, it's almost as if, hear me out - there are only 1-2 typists behind the many handles.

 

I've often wondered if there is a way to analyze the posting timestamps to determine which ones never overlap.  I think the analytics would be very telling.  Alas, I am way too lazy to do the legwork.  I need weaponized autism, stat!

Trump went on to blame Biden for egg prices, claiming he "let the price of eggs get out of control".

Prices are high, but this has been linked to a bird flu outbreak in the US.

Egg prices rose under Biden in 2023, and in January a dozen eggs averaged over $5, according to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). That is 53% above the average for the whole of 2024.

The USDA has said a bird flu outbreak has led to US farmers having to kill millions of chickens, creating egg shortages, and has announced a $1bn (£780m) plan to help combat the issue.

The outbreak started in February 2022 and last year the Biden administration allocated more than $800m to tackle it.

The Trump administration recently fired a number of USDA officials who worked on the government's response to bird flu as part of cost-cutting measures by the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge). They are now reportedly attempting to rehire some of them.

 

 

On its official website, Doge states that it has saved an estimated $105bn, from fraud detection, contract and grant cancellations, real estate lease terminations, asset sales, workforce reductions, programmatic changes, and regulatory savings.

However, that figure cannot be independently verified as, so far, Doge has only published "receipts" for contract, grant and real estate lease cancellations on the website. These add up to about $18.6bn. We have asked the White House for evidence of the remaining $86bn of savings.

US media outlets have also highlighted some accounting errors. For example, Doge initially listed its largest saving of $8bn from scrapping an immigration agency contract - it later corrected this to $8m.

 

The Chinese embassy in Washington, in a post on X, said: "If war is what the US wants, be it a tariff war, a trade war or any other type of war, we're ready to fight till the end."

So what you're telling us is there was no accounting for umtpy-squat billions of federal dollars.  No traceability.  Your answer - stop looking!

“Most anticipate the price of some vehicle models will increase — by as much as 25 percent — and the negative impact on vehicle price and vehicle availability will be felt almost immediately,” Bozzella added.
