Trumps actions in office are a dream scenario for Putin. He couldn’t expect anything better as Trump turns America towards an alliance with Russia over our traditional western allies. What is amazing to watch is how the rest of the Republicans along with MAGA have become obedient sheep and seem just fine with abandoning our NATO allies and other democracies in the world. The vets from WWII, who are nearly all gone must be rolling in their graves. It’s to the point now where he is either an agent for Putin or he is doing a very good job of acting like one who is.

The OP's original premise of quoting Khuschev is by itself comical. His tenure as leader of the Soviet Union was in the biggest moments, a failure. The blockade of West Berlin and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Yet we are to believe he was some sort of prophet?

It's as foolish as the idea Trump is working in concert with Putin. 

As for our western allies many have yet to notice they're values for most of these countries fail to align with ours.

For starters, outlawing popular political parties because they threaten the power of the ruling class and party. Using the ruse they're a threat to democracy to maintain power and neutralize the vote of citizens. 

And yet many insist Putin is the biggest problem while our so-called allies emulate his actions. They're morally bankrupt and have nothing of value we require. The alliance is a one way street.

Yes Russia helped us defeat the Nazis. That doesn’t mean they are our ally. Do you think WWII vets, if alive, would support communist Russia? My bet is they would back Ukraine and be wondering what the hell is wrong with Trump. Are a supporter of aligning our foreign policy goals with Russia?

Good recovery to your ignorance but Russia was our ally. As for this war comparing it to WWII is the sign of ignorance I can't imagine. This war is between an extremely corrupt country vs Russia. Russia is the bad guys but Ukraine is far from the good guys such as England or France back in the day, to compare them is proof of stupidity of an monumental level

Corruption is a big issue in both countries. Corruption does not justify invasion. Regardless, Russia has been destroying cities, towns and villages, slaughtering civilians and kidnapping children of another nation. Most Americans support Ukraine. Trump meanwhile will never ever say a cross word about his master Putin. As the leader of the free world, that is ridiculous.

Ukraine has been forcing conscription on their own young men and has denied its people the right to vote, as I have said Russia is worse but your comparisons are ignorant.

All of us have to follow laws, but after that people should have the freedom to live their lives as they see fit, including practicing any religion, lifestyle, or sexuality they please. What one personally feels about somebody's way of existing means nothing in the scheme of what is actually right, correct, or real. What is right or correct or real can only be defined by laws that govern a society. After that, it's completely subjective and up to each individual. Hell, even a lot of laws are questionable, but as a society we have to follow something. Conservatives want to define things with personal or religious views, then take those views and impose them onto others. Which inherently leads to an overall bigoted and exclusionary outlook. How couldn't it lead to that? 

 

Calling a spade a spade isn't why they lost this election. The extreme version of these people have always existed in society and tend to flair up in the form of a political group like the Tea Party or MAGA every 10 years or so.  Ultimately, when enough hate comes together it can be a powerful thing. Sometimes that happens in a period where liberal voters aren't as motivated or confident in leadership or direction. Then you get a result like this as even people who don't fit the description I gave join forces to oppose the status quo. But inevitably more people in society side with the type of freedom and outlook I touched on because most of us want to live our lives without judgement or infringement from others. This fad will die out as it always does and the view I discussed won't have to be modified for that to happen.

3 of the 4 are more than 25 years old, and two of them are liberal government officials not allowing people to live their lives the way they wanted, which is the opposite of what you claim.
