Oh Tee not gonna like that... they dont want to let their good players go.. but they certainly dont roll out the red carpet... this is a situation that bears watching for sure.

Kicking the can down the street, unless he has an off year/gets hurt he is going to be real expensive, probably cost prohibitive next year.

Havent NFL teams learned from the Dak fiasco in Dallas?

Rappaport's comments about "not in the business of letting good players walk away" is such BS and comes straight from Duke Tobin. They let Jesse Bates, Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, and DJ Reeder walk away just in the last two years. All those guys, except for Boyd, are excellent players still in their prime and were replaced with much weaker players. Yet more proof that Rappaport is the mouthpiece of front offices just like Schefter is the shill for agents.

So they’re going to tag Higgins at 26M and pay Chase 40 lol. Holy cap hell

Mike Brown is going to have to be medicated for what’s coming his way. He’ll cheap out eventually, I bet.  It’s what he does.

Cap hell? Even after tagging Higgins, they're 43.9m under the cap. Tagging him again doesn't necessarily mean they're signing him long term. They may just keep him for another year or even Trade him. But they're so far under the cap this season, it's not something they have to worry about right now.

Burrow wants to pad those stats.  He can do that if they have a crappy defense and two stud #1 WR's.

Keeping that trio together is the best thing Cinci can do, and they've got Chase Brown on his rookie deal for 2 more seasons, at least.

There isn't a more dangerous offense in football.  (Philly, maybe)

Doesn’t mean much. He’ll be traded or signed long-term. Burrow wants him.

I think the Bengals may be good with him on a one year 26M deal, after that trade would be next.

He won’t be good with it. It’ll be another distraction to start their season. It won’t go over well.

I am sure he wont be.....dont think Brown gives a damn what he thinks though
