Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), D.P.M, elicited a concession from Mr. Cuomo that he did not speak to CDC or CMS before or after mandating New York nursing homes admit COVID-positive patients. This contradicts Mr. Cuomo’s narrative that his March 25 Directive followed CDC and CMS guidance. Cuomo Held Accountable For Covid Nursing Home Disaster 1
yall Posted April 8 Posted April 8 One thing I've yet to see is a news story reporting how someone stopped getting their social security check. By the headlines you'd think it was some massive debacle, but I've not heard of a single person being negatively impacted.

So far all I've heard from the DOGE effort and the SSA is they're purging the active files of dead people and examining the database to identify fraudulent applications for benefits and payments then taking the appropriate action to remove them too.

Wacka Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) Yes we can afford it with the waste Elon is finding. The Bicentennial was when Ford was POTUS and we had bad inflation (but not as and as when Caeter was POTUS) and we afforded it then. Had celebrations in EVERY town. All the church bells in the country rang at noon local time on July4,1976. That was amazing to hear. Edited April 8 by Wacka
