Kirby Jackson Posted Sunday at 10:25 PM Posted Sunday at 10:25 PM This was always happening. The lowest tender was $3.3M. Draft someone in the mid to late rounds. 4 4 4 Quote
TheBeaneBandit Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Davidson has serious receiving potential as well. Possible enough potential that the wheelin n dealin could include Kincaid or Knox. Morris would then be invited back around vet minimum. Off-season thoughts and wonders at work 😂😆🤣 6 2 Quote
Doc Brown Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Mighty suspicious this move happens right after the Devante Adams news breaks. 13 Quote

Probably for the Bills less important as Anderson as the 6th OL fills the blocking TE role. Knox also has become a pretty good blocker too and if they resign Hollins, he also is a very good blocker. 3 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted Sunday at 10:54 PM Posted Sunday at 10:54 PM Morris biggest role is special teams and he is good at it. I imagine they get a deal done with him. This is a tough year to be a fringe tight end on a roster. Good players in the draft and teams always want to get younger at those depth positions. Having said that I do think they will make a deal with him. He has shown he can play well on offense when given the chance and is a special teams player that is very good. 3 Quote

Or just bring him back for less than $3M, which is most likely what will happen. 17 minutes ago, MikePJ76 said: Morris biggest role is special teams and he is good at it. Not worth wasting a draft pick when we can just bring him back for less than $3M, but still at a number which is more than any of us will make next year. I agree I think they'll get something done. For what he'll get paid anywhere else, he's best off in Buffalo being a part of Josh's offense. 3 2 2 Quote
Logic Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM I'm guessing he still winds up back with the Bills, BUT... It also might just be Zach Davidson SZN 🚀 1 2 Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted Sunday at 11:43 PM Posted Sunday at 11:43 PM Draft one. It’s supposed to be a strong TE draft. Good role player, but 3 million is a lot. 2 Quote

wppete Posted Monday at 12:00 AM Posted Monday at 12:00 AM I think they like Davidson and he has potential. 2 Quote

Yep, these are the kind of guys that you let go. Even if he’s $2M that’s too much. He’s a 3rd TE. Davidson is 1/2 of that. You can draft one later as well. Don’t pay for role players anymore that can be easily replaced. He’s fine but you should cycle through guys like Morris or Neal or Matakevich or Jordan Phillips, etc… 2 3 1 1 Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted Monday at 12:03 AM Posted Monday at 12:03 AM I like Q. Might be a borderline starter on a TE deficient team. I’m surprised he doesn’t want to move somewhere that gives him the opportunity for more offensive snaps 2 Quote

Anything less than $1.5M is a no-brainer and save those draft assets for where we need them because we arent going to get DEs or DTs at that rate. Edited Monday at 12:11 AM by DrDawkinstein 5 Quote
