He is not a good solution to us in many ways, but we don't need to spend that kinda money on a WR

I mean getting lofton in a similar circumstance helped take Buffalo to another level. I understand it was a different time and circumstance but still.

I do believe lofton was released late summer in 89 and Buffalo signed him just before the season started

He had 1063 yards in 14 games. 1300 yard pace and part of that was with the raiders. He is exactly what we need. Sign him and stack the d with our draft.

He's likely following Rodgers. And even if he doesnt, no way we get him. Which is dumb on his part given what he's been through with crap orgs like Vegas and the Jets. But whatevs.

So he's going to a hut in Merzouga for a darkness retreat that lasts all season?

Announced by Ian Rapporort on NFL Network during the combine.

No GM in his right mind is going to trade for Adams and inherit his massive contract, when they can wait for the Jets to release him.

If he’s smart, he’ll play for a real contender like Buffalo on a one-year deal.  But knowing him he’ll either follow Aaron Rodgers or take the money like DHop.

aka following Rodgers to the Giants. Pretty much the same thing with the way it's going in New Jersey.

Can you imagine if we signed Adams and traded for Garrett and drafted Darius Alexander and Amos the cb from ole miss

  1. His contract will keep him from getting traded...he will be released.
  2. If he is smart, which he is not, he would look to latch on with a legit contender.  Instead, he is going to follow Rodgers because he puts playing with his buddies (and money) ahead of a SB ring.  I mean he wanted to go to the lowly Raiders with mediocre at best Carr because they were besties...then he actually wanted to go to the Donald Sterling Clippers of the NFL...NY Jets...just to play with his work wife Rodgers.

If he was willing to come here, sure, I would be down.  Just don't think he is logical enough to make that choice, not to mention, he probably hates the idea of a spread the ball around offense given how grumpy he gets when not getting enough targets.

It won't likely happen, but how funny would it be if Rodgers signed with Vegas and Adams had to go back there if he wanted to keep playing with his work wife hahaha

Methinks he’s got more in the tank than Cooper. I’d kick those tires.

I’m in this boat as well - especially if they could get him on a one-year deal.

Cap hit is 38 mil. He’s getting released

Yep. Due $36.25M in cash this season and again in 2026. No way any team is doing that.

If we can get him cheaply I would be for it but the only big splash cash free agent I want is DL. We put up 30+ points a game last year

Any GM trading for him should be immediately fired.
