HurlyBurly51 Posted yesterday at 02:51 AM Posted yesterday at 02:51 AM I think the Commanders could have done better. Too soon?😅 Quote

I think this is pulling the trigger way too fast on a trade like this. I am willing to bet there will be better receivers that will shake loose here soon. For just a 5th though? Man. Cheap. Quote
Jrb1979 Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM If I was the Bills I would have taken a flyer on Deebo. Especially for a 5th. Yeah he had a down year but so did a lot of 49ers. Quote

With that said I don't think it was a bad trade for Washington though. Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted yesterday at 04:30 AM Posted yesterday at 04:30 AM It feels like a good fit for both parties. 🍻 Quote
somnus00 Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Does this mean Dyami Brown will be available? He's an interesting player. Low risk with some potential. 3 Quote

I have long since said it. When he was holding out for a contract and pretending he wanted to be traded I said repeatedly he is only a stud in that scheme. He is one of the most scheme specific players in football. I do not expect this to work out. That said they have a ton of cap room and a 5th round pick is nothing. So they possibly see the risks and just think "shot worth taking." 1 Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted yesterday at 11:13 AM Posted yesterday at 11:13 AM Commanders are instant SB contenders now. Having Daniel’s on a rookie contract allows them to make moves like this. They needed more firepower to take down the Eagles. I do want to see if Daniels goes through the dreaded sophomore slump now that the league has a full year worth of tape on him. I think he is the real deal. Possibly the best QB in a weak NFC especially if he puts up another season like the last. 6 hours ago, nedboy7 said: So we couldn’t give a better pick? mannc Posted yesterday at 11:15 AM Posted yesterday at 11:15 AM He may not have had a great year, but Deebo still has plenty of juice. He was certainly a problem for the Bills in the snow game…every time he touched the ball he was a threat take it to the house, especially on kickoff returns. I think this is an excellent move for Washington. Quote

Deebo’s certainly better than Curtis Samuel, who we are stuck with. And he’s only 29. Edited yesterday at 11:21 AM by mannc Quote
H2o Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) I like this move for both parties. If Deebo can stay healthy, I fully expect him to bounce back in a Kingsbury designed offense. He will find different ways to get him the ball just like Shanahan did in SF. Even with this, they still have the $$$ to go after Tee Higgins. Can you imagine that O with McLaurin, Higgins, and Samuel? Then they can go get someone like Austin Hooper as a stop-gap TE. Then draft one of the top RB's in Henderson, Hampton, or Judkins. An offense that was already tough to handle will be even more dynamic. Edited 22 hours ago by H2o Quote

Is your main issue with Debo the salary, not the draft pick? Which I can understand. 1 Quote

No my main issue is the fit in anything other than the Shanny scheme. But then as to the risk that brings yes the salary is where you get stung more than the pick if it doesn't work out. 1 Quote

Aiyuk is one of the most overrated wr ever. If SF traded him a year after giving him a contract...oof. Maybe SF is going to look for a younger inexpensive player. Who takes that contract from them though. Quote
