I'll give it a shot.  Most of us want the team to get better.  One way is to add an elite talent.  Of the four top talents being discussed: Garrett/Crosby/Hendrickson and DK Metcalf - DK Metcalf has the highest odds/likelihood of being able to be obtained.

 

Add an elite piece, then fill in the rest.  If that elite piece is DK then draft and put other resources into improving the defense.

I go back and forth on this all the time. We did win a lot this year and Josh played great.  But I've been watching Ja'marr Chase highlights today. All Burrow has to do is throw it in his general direction and good things happen. It's just so much easier to play when you have guys besides the QB that can make plays.Chase takes 10 yard completions and turns them into 50 -yard TDs because he runs away from people. We lack that.

Cook can turn an average looking play into a 50 yard TD, and we want to know if we can trade him for anything.

Chargers or Texans. Both teams have a need, cap space, and a lot of assets to trade.

Just like adding Diggs and then spending a lot of draft capital on defense took us to the promised land. You’re right my mistake.

I actually like this. If the defense is gonna choke anyways might as well make the offense as entertaining as possible.

You're saying this like it was a mistake to add Diggs.  I disagree and would like them to try again.  And I like the player/person of DK better than Diggs.

 

I would also like them to try and add a big piece to the defense - kind of like the attempt with Von.  That didn't work out so well IMO, but I want the FO to try again - get Garrett or Hendrickson if they can afford it.

Ja'marr Chase is arguably the best receiving weapon on Planet Earth.

The Bills are not going to find anyone like that either via trade or picking 30th. 🤷‍♂️

100% with you on DK but i think we draft defense this year just like the Rams did last year. I think if we hit we walk away with 3 impact players and a few chess pieces moving forward.

I see a lot of people saying this year after year.  Players hardly ever get traded during the draft.  I’m sure some have but it’s very few and far between.

This is true, really hope it's not the case this time. And may i also add DAMN the VIKINGS and Sam Darnold i really expected there 2nd to be at or near the top of the round😡
