I'm gonna say it all year, it's time for the bills to go all in. They have to change up their philosophy a bit. They've been so bad at drafting, that I litterally don't care if they give up half their draft picks to get proven guys here, via trade or free agency.

The Bills will undoubtedly continue on this course until Beane and McDermott are fired or Josh requests a trade. Last offseason was terrible; the free agent and draft classes were complete busts, with the exceptions of Hollins and Davis. Unless we find a way to score over 40 points in every playoff game, nothing is going to change, and the defense certainly isn't going to improve.

They must do something right.

Year after year, fans of this team are subjected to, the consistent rhetoric, that this year's iteration was 'good enough' save for a few calls here or there.

Too bad, so sad; they weren't!

The Eagles absolutely throttled the team that spanked the Bills in the AFCCG. No one here, can tell me, that the Bills had an honest to god chance against the Eagles. That team was primed for a run to the superbowl regardless of anything that stood before them..

It wasn't just Barkley, or Hurts, or Brown, or Sweat, or Braun or anyone else. It was all of these guys punching above their weight. Collectively that team wanted it more than anyone else. That'd what makes the difference. Every single player giving the absolute max they can, to get the job done.

What do the Bills have?

The Bills have Allen and that's about it. He's been great, but when hes the only one thats not enough to seal the deal.  Whether it's the players around him, the coaches calling the plays, or mistakes he's made himself. There have been multiple opportunities to lead the team to greatness and they've all failed at that. Its the only thing holding this team back, it's not just Allen, or the weapons, or the defense, or the coaches, it's all of them.

But at the end of the day..

It doesn't matter who does what.

What matters is team success (i.e. winning a superbowl). And that means players being selfless and giving everything they've got. It means coaches pulling plays out of their asses to stop a crucial 4th down. IT MEANS BEING THE BEST OF THE BEST REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE.

How many times have we all seen the Bills get 'close enough' only to fall flat on their face?  The fact of the matter is.... that it's too many...

I, for one, am ready for the Bills to step up and win one for themselves and for the fans. It's time to stop being a team of wussies and being a team of men who get ***** done.

Let's go Buffalo!

You are not wrong... I was literally waiting for you to jump in with.... "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" so I could say... Shut up, he's on a roll!

You know what, I'm going to go against the grain here.

I'm looking for MORE excuses.  I want to hear about how hard coaches and players work, even in defeat.  I want to read about how hard it is to win in the NFL.  I'd like to hear details about Kincaid's knee (or whatever) and how much he had to work, just to get out of bed in the morning, let alone play an NFL football game!  Beane, tell me about the tricky cap situation!

LFG!  Ex Post justifications for everyone!

Cry me a river.   I've been a Bills fan for likely longer than you've been alive unless you're eligible for Social Security, and the team has only had 3 periods of excellence in all that time: 1964-1966, 1988-1999, and 2019-2024.

Do you know what "zero for the seventies" means?  Between 1970 and 1979, the Bills didn't win a single game against the Miami Dolphins.  Not one.  None.  Zilch.  When Chuck Knox's 1980 squad beat the Fish in September, 1980, the fans tore down the goal posts.  It was the biggest win since the Bills won the 1965 AFC Championship.

I was a season ticket holder during the Drought Era, 17 seasons with the playoffs mostly being pipe dreams.  The Bills had 2 9-win and 3 8-win seasons during stretch.  Most of the rest of the time, the season was over before the end of October ...

So, buttercup, suck it up and deal with the reality that no team is guaranteed anything, especially winning a Super Bowl.

That IMO is going to be why they may win 1 Super Bowl if everything goes right but most likely won't win one.  You need elite talent on both sides of the ball to win a Super Bowl. A lot of those elite playmakers come with egos. Give me an AJ Brown who will pout when no getting the ball but will make big plays over a Shakir any day.

I find the idea that our OL isnt tough enough hilarious.  Anderson and Spencer Brown are just nasty individuals.  Wanna say our DL gets pushed around? sure.  But the OL is a nasty group of dudes.

Josh, Cook, Shakir. I hate to break up an epic tantrum though.

Shakir only because he was on his rookie deal.

He'll underperform his current one if his production remains the same.

He's a nice piece. He's not a gamebreaker.

Now I'm understanding why so many disagree with going all in and giving away the future. While a Super Bowl would be nice, having a chance to win each season is better.

I don’t think they’re afraid of the AJ Browns. But they look for players they feel will fit their locker room and also fit Buffalo.

You’re not allowed to say something like this.

As Allen turns 29 for this up coming season, there should be a feeling of it’s now or never for this coach and this front office.

But the theme of this offseason has largely been Beane and McDermott are fine as is, don’t change anything, we’re close.

The GM says it, the Coach says it, a good percentage of the fans say it.

Based on Beane’s comments I expect the plan to stay the same - the Bills will extend, re-sign their own, and fill in with low cost FAs.

Means they have to draft better.

You dont think Josh Allen out played his 14th highest QB salary?  So you don't think any QB is worth a salary investment?

Also Cook is on a rookie contract.  You don't think he outplayed his contract?

My wife will tell you that was our record in consecutive seasons when we were first married (1985). She asked me “Why do you do this to yourself???”

Now she proudly wears a Bills shirt that says “I Married Into This.” We enjoy these Bills, and hope they get over the top one year. But it won’t ruin my life if that never happens. We’re enjoying the ride.

You're right. In my 12 years of life I'm so entitled that I demand the Bills not only win, they dominate the Superbowl! So dominate, in fact, that the NFC immediately concedes any future superbowls played against them.

Sure, I want the Bills to win a Superbowl. It doesn't consume me. Watching the Bills a fun an exhilarating activity I've enjoyed and will continue to enjoy with my family. We'd watch every game even if they went 2-14 or lost every game to the Pats, I mean Dolphins.

I'm expressing frustration and what I believe is the issue with the Bills current status as a hopeful SB champion. I certainly do appreciate what the Bills have accomplished over the past few seasons. It's great, it's wonderful and I've enjoyed it, yet they still haven't reached the pinnacle of excellence that, at the end of the day is the only reason they play these games.

If Allen doesn't win at least 1 Superbowl, all of his stats and accomplishments will equate to a hugely disappointing career. Mahomes could die tomorrow and end up as a first ballot HOFer simply because he's won multiple superbowls. Can you say the same for Allen, Burrow, or Jackson?

I get it, the Bills have sucked for the majority of their existence.. that's not my problem and it's not yours either. Here in the present, the team has left meat on the bone because they haven't been tough enough. Physically or mentally

I think Lamar Jackson had a better season ending drive than our very own Josh Allen

Tell me who one the Bills has performed at or above their given contract during the playoffs.

During the season, the offensive line, and Cook.  The simple solution is give away a 1st and 2nd, and next years 1st for Garrett.  Then, the other 2nd goes for the space eating DT we need.  GROOT gets single coverage, and and Oliver gets the opportunity to penetrate.  The recast for the draft of the 7 picks goes towards a speedy WR, CB, and Safety.  A kicker and backup QB with our 6ths as we have two.  That’s it.

You can’t evaluate how bad any team wants it.  This is anger and frustration, and I understand it.  I’m frustrated too.  I am.  We have answers in front of us, but a matter of Beane doing what it takes to win.  Extend Josh amd backload it and we have all the space we need.  There a couple other restructures out there.  The cap went up last year by around $35 mil. And another $25 mil this years.  It might be as high as $27 mil.
