Williams needs to see the field more. While Milano might get traded there is not going to be any players included in a trade for Garrett. All Cleveland will want is picks, they are crippled for 2 years by Watson contract 1 1 Quote

I remember him getting completely fooled by the slightest misdirection and losing his assignment. Thumper in the run game though. He wasn't quite spector bad in coverage - and he was next to spector far too much... I didn't see much from him as a blitzer, he looks rather stiff in coverage, and he was a little late to react in the run game at times. Struggled massively with motion checks. I do think he sheds pretty well, and is a solid tackler. Just not sure I'm not still looking for a better player at the Will, not sure if thats still milano - but if they move on from milano after this season i don't think you just elevate williams. Of course certain "Milano" things need to happen for this to transpire as well. I don't see it. Bernard was one of 2 captains on the entire team which shows how the Bills feel about him, plus the mass exit of captain types and leaders from last season. Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Dorian is one of our few back 7 defenders who brings the wood and plays with violence. I’ll live with him being out of position sometimes in pass coverage since so many defenders in a Mcdermott defense are either soft or undersized or both. Quote

Florida Bills Fanatic Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Played well in stretches but overall was poor in coverage. Most of his tackles were well off the line of scrimmage. Too often, he is slow to get to the point of attack. Quote
bigK14094 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Williams looks fast on the field. He is a good player to have on the team. And, if he can learn to cover, he can replace Milano anytime I guess. Milano is now getting by on his experience and smarts. that works too, but he is in the downward path at this point it seems. Of course, lbs play in the league for a looong time if they want to, Milano may be one of those. Quote

What is ironic is that the generic [Misleading Title] is often more generic or misleading than the original title. 1 2 Quote

He isn't even close Tremaine did it at 20 years old, Dorian did it at 23 I'll add this, if this is an AI generated tweet it really makes you wonder why corps are spending Billions on AI because this one is not even close to factual. It was this season He was the youngest linebacker this season to have a hundred tackles Quote

I agree that the comment was relative to the 2024 season and not relative to all-time NFL statistics. Regardless, and notwithstanding that Williams has some flaws in his game (namely being out of position in coverage), it's still a positive statistic for Williams. He's an ascending young player. harmonkillebrew Posted February 27 Posted February 27 He's best as insurance for glass Matt. I hope he's not needed this year, but between Milano and Bernard he probably will be. And available for 3 LBs looks. Possible Bernard replacement next year Quote

Who knows how many tackles he would’ve ended up with if he had remained in the lineup. Finally, someone said it. I'm not a Milano hater. I just don't think that Williams should've been on the sidelines as much as he was, once Milano returned. 1 1 Quote
