DJB Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) How is this possible I thought Tremaine was the youngest and only getting younger?!?! Edited February 27 by DJB 2 4 4 Quote
oldmanfan Posted February 27 Posted February 27 It would not completely surprise me if Milano is included in a trade for a guy like Garrett. Williams needs to see the field more. 7 1 1 2 1 Quote
TheBeaneBandit Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I remain firm on my dark horse theory that Williams could be a sneaky replacement for Bernard should the Bills not retain him. Of course certain "Milano" things need to happen for this to transpire as well. 1 1 Quote
Mat68 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 He adds a punch to the defense. Imo, he was missed down the stretch. Milano did make plays vs Baltimore. Good problem to have. 3 2 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Feel like Williams was pretty bad in coverage this year. I remember him getting completely fooled by the slightest misdirection and losing his assignment. Thumper in the run game though. 2 Quote

Thats ridiculous. total horse *****. He isn't even close Tremaine did it at 20 years old, Dorian did it at 23 I'll add this, if this is an AI generated tweet it really makes you wonder why corps are spending Billions on AI because this one is not even close to factual. While I think it’s highly unlikely that the Browns trade Garrett this offseason, there is no chance that they would take an over 30 player back in trade. They’d be in rebuild mode and would be looking for picks and young players. 26 minutes ago, DJB said: How is this possible I thought Tremaine was the youngest and only getting younger?!?! Still basically a rookie. 3 Quote
DCofNC Posted February 27 Posted February 27 That was the sneakiest 100 tackle season ever. Good for him. 4 Quote

The Browns won’t be interested in taking back an older player back in trade - especially an older one with a large salary and recent injury issues. It would only undermine their rebuild. 2 Quote

I can't imagine it's an NFL all-time record, he is 23 years old. Edmunds would have likely had multiple seasons like that before that age. Quote

Brand J Posted February 27 Posted February 27 All while conceding his starting spot to Milano. Who knows how many tackles he would’ve ended up with if he had remained in the lineup. 1 Quote

Williams needs to see the field more. It was strange that we didn't see him much down the stretch. He average like 65% of snaps on the season. Didn't play vs. Denver. 40% vs Baltimore. 6% vs KC. I know he injured his elbow and knee. But scrolling through the injury reports it looks like he missed maybe 2-3 days of practice all year long. Otherwise he was listed as a full participant. He also dressed for all 17 games. Quote

Why would the Bills get rid of their 25 year old linebacker now? Please explain. And do you think this would be a good/bad move? Wouldn't it be dramatically more likely that they cut ties with their 31 year old linebacker, Milano, coming off two major injuries? I don't want that to happen, want to see what Milano can do this year, but that seems soo much more likely than your theory. Why get rid of your young linebacker now, creating a glaring need? Almost as bad of an idea as those saying, "Let Cook walk." Though obviously Cook is, at this point, a much more special player. Both moves remind me of the type of moves so often made during the drought years, with the Bills doing stupid things like this pretty consistently. And just spinning their wheels. GASabresIUFan Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Edmunds stats Age 20 2018 80 solo tackles, 41 Ast tackles for 121 total tackles (also the most tackles of his career) Williams stats Age 23 2024 68 Solo tackles, 49 ast tackles for 117 total tackles 1 Quote
uticaclub Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Our defensive line is also extremely porous, which creates more opportunities for linebacker tackles. Quote
