GreggTX Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Pretty self explainatory. Was it McDole? He played LE. Hanson? Schobel? Hanson? Mario? Hughes? I was thinking about and realized that outside of Bruce and Hughes, the cupboard has been pretty bare at RE. The LE and ROLB (Paup) positions have fated much better overall. colin Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago schobel for sure. he got hurt late in his career, his feet i think. if he played on an actually talented team, and especially if he were around today because of how d's play now, he'd have had some really gnarly stats 1 1 2 Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Mario was the best. Schobel may have had the best career here but Mario was the best player. 1 Quote

He’d have 10 or so sacks in a season but maybe 6 would be in 2 games vs crappy teams. Teams didn’t have to game plan for him. 2 Quote

But Mario's first 3 years in Buffalo were better than Schobel's best three years. If the question is who was the best rusher at their peak after Bruce, it's Mario Williams. Peak Mario was the best Bills player of the drought era (talking pure drought so excluding those who played on the last playoff team pre-drought and then into the drought). 1 1 Quote

Yes, it was definitely based on overall production and length of service. Mario got ruined by Rex Ryan, who used Mario to drop into coverage? I recall how upset he was with the way Ryan used him. I just flashed back to Mario’s red contacts. Bad things, man! 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago For the 1 year Paup. For the window Mario and for the length Jerry Hughes. The Lorax had that magic run for parts of 1 year but there hasn’t been much. 1 Quote

I think guys like Rousseau are in the mold of Hansen, but Greg has the wingspan and has put up a little better numbers than Hansen sack wise 1 1 Quote
