I, personally, can't see Golden going before McMillan or Burden. But, stranger things have happened. Imo, it would just push the two better WR's down the board. 

 

I have always thought Sanders was more a product of the hype machine than he was the actual #1 QB prospect. Like others have said, it's a bad year to need a QB. You have Ward and Sanders in the 1st, Jaxson Dart as a 2nd rounder, Ewers as a 2nd or early 3rd, then everyone else is just late round flier material imo. And no, I'm not a fan of Milroe in the slightest. 

 

I like Dart the most as a QB after Ward.  Then McCoy.  I think Dart could be a steal in the 2nd or some team may try to trade back into the 1st even.

I could see the Raiders taking someone they really like at 6, then moving back into the last couple spots of the 1st to get Dart. It will depend a lot on how Brady sees him imo.

First Carter weighed in at 250 pounds Garrett weighed in at 272. He’s also a 1 1/2 shorter 

Garrett had 33 reps on the bench which would have cleared the top guy this year by 4 reps. Garrett’s 3 years at A@M he had 11.5, 12.5 and 8.5 sacks with 49 TFLs and 7 FF. 
 

I get that he had one year at DE and had 12 sacks but if he was that great they would have moved him over Adissa Issac at DE who was a solid but unspectacular NFL prospect 

Carter played field baker his first 2 season.  That was his position.  Chop Robinson left he asked to move to edge.  Again only season playing edge.  He was an off ball linebacker previous not on the bench behind Issac.  Every big game he was borderline dominate this season.  I think his play style is of Von Miller not Garrett.  Like Garret was the best pass rush prospect since Miller, Carter is the best pass rush prospect since Garrett.  Anyone disputing his rush ability hasn’t watched him play with any sort of concentration.

Thoughts on Josiah Stewart ? 

 

Any chance this guy is available in RD4? From what I’ve seen he looks dynamic as a rusher but notable concerns are that he’d be limited to passing downs. Clearly the bills visit means they wanted to know more. I don’t think RD2 is a possibility and we don’t have a 3rd, so what was their intention in the meeting?

Respectfully disagree. I think he has good change of direction and is sudden in his movements. Surely wouldn't take Golden over him. Egbuka, maybe. If he were there at #30, depending on the defensive talent available, I would take him. I don't think it will be an option regardless as I expect all three of McMillan(no question), Burden, and Egbuka to all be off the board when we pick.

I like the way he plays but i'm a big traits guy and I can't get behind a pass rusher in a 4-3 being 6'1 and 249 pounds with under 32 inch arms. He'd have to be a flawless technician to be successful in the NFL.  Solomon was about the same size with almost 34 inch arms and with the depth in this draft at DL he will probably be available in round 4 or possibly even 5.

I’m also lower on Burden than the WR2 or 3 he usually is ranked. The problem with him for the Bills if he does make it to 30 is he was basically exclusively a slot player and with us re-upping Shakir, that is a bit redundant. If we go WR at 30 it really needs to be someone who can win out wide.

If the Raiders make draft decisions influenced at all by a minority owner, then they are truly effed. 

 

Isn't there some new smoke around Brady and potential FA/trade tampering? The guy is an unethical hack at everything but playing the QB position.

I definitely don't imagine he'll make it out of Day 2. He way too good. He's undersized...and maybe he's just going to be a situational guy...but as a pass rusher purely I'm not sure he's got many peers in this Draft. Before he measured a lot of folks were thinking he could go as high as the mid 2nd, but now I think he settles in somewhere in the 3rd. The Bills can move around a bit too. We'll see... I really like Stewart a lot. There were games this year where down after down he stood out. And I'm really trying to watch Grant and Graham. But Stewart is out there just twisting big OT's like pretzels... He did get nicked up last year and that's not going to help his stock considering his size, but I just can't see him getting to the Bills in the 4th... If he does, please let them grab him...

Are you suggesting they currently listen to nepo-Davis on QB e v a l? (I know Al Davis had a STRONG hand in top of the draft decisions in the past; see also: Darrius Heyward-Bey in the top-10 of 2009 draft. Davis had a speed fetish for sure. But at least he came up as an actual football guy.)

I think all 4 will be gone too. But of the four Burden is my least favourite and I am not sure I'd take him for the Bills. I maintain I think he has the hardest transition to the NFL game.

I mean, Al Davis used to overdraft guys solely because of 40 times. What makes you think Mark won't defer to the guy with 7 rings? As far as the type of human Tom is, we all know. I'm sure the GM and everyone would have to be on board ad well, but I think Tom holds weight in Vegas.

I second this, and the arm size likely means the Bills will discount him. I know they met with him but they love arm length.
