I heard he had multiple sexual assaults, and that he was thrown off one college team for one of the attacks. I looked him up and noticed he had missed time, and that would explain it. Save him for the Chiefs or the Browns. Quote

The TEs are technically here interviewing which is why I didn’t state that explicitly. Obviously as a football fan you should also know that the combine is taking place and the defense is only here right now. The schedule has been plastered multiple times on this forum. Come at me correct next time in a different manner and I’ll take your suggestion better as I’ve already explained that in a later post as well as others but you’d know that if you read through it. Maybe hey man saw you’ve been correcting people in the thread and thanks for putting this together, could you make it more clear in the original post. Dude what? I was very respectful in my post to you...if you took it otherwise, then I don't know what to tell you. It was a simple suggestion and the reason I was suggesting it. Take a chill pill...and no disrespect (since you seem to be keen on taking things as if they are disrespectful)...the fact you have to keep correcting people is exactly why you should just have edited the post and made it clear as it clearly continued to cause confusion to those who aren't aware. I knew, and when I read your OP it didn't read like you knew...all you said was that "obviously its mostly defensive" when it was 100% defensive players on our list, not "mostly" and none of that suggests its because the offense hasn't reported. Most people on this board don't follow the combine to the level you seem to expect them to as football fans...I do, but the majority here don't know or follow the schedule. Really was absolutely no reason to get so rude and pissy about this dude. You do you bud, didn't realize I had to thank you for voluntarily making a post before I could make a simple suggestion to help those who don't follow the combine from getting confused. Quote

Would think that FS can be filled through free agency rather than in the draft. Understand that these combine meetings do not indicate much, but CB seems like more of an overall need than safety (although safety definitely is a need). Was thinking the same thing but Gonzo just added two CBs to the list: Denzel Burke CB Ohio State and Mello Dotson CB Kansas Hope Beane is looking at Shavon Revel, Jr. His surgeon “confirmed for NFL teams that Revel's recovery is continuing on track after he underwent surgery to repair his left ACL four months ago … [and] will be ready to conditioning and individual work upon being selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, with full clearance not anticipated until training camp.” Edited Thursday at 07:02 PM by biggerdaddynj 1 Quote

It’s hard because it’s mostly coming from beat reporters and I’m sure they don’t ask it for every guy and can’t be at every podium of guys talking so there will be some guys who are missed. Zy Alexander has reportedly met with the Bills multiple times informally not formally so I didn’t add him to this list. Cobee Bryant and Ben Morrison spoke but nothing on meeting with the Bills yet Edited Thursday at 06:48 PM by gonzo1105 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM It is interesting that Buffalo's interest in DTs seems to lean more toward 1 tech types. Even Walter Nolen, who is under 300 lbs, is seen as more of a1 tech than a 3 tech. It looks like Buffalo is all over the safeties in the draft, and has a lot of interest in CBs too. 1 Quote

Beane in his presser talked about talking to more of the “bigger” guys at DT and even talked more about base ends that can reduce more than pass rushers. Some of the big base ends though are coming in extremely light today compared to their listings. Getting light for the 40 and agility testing Quote
BigAl2526 Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Unlike DTs, Buffalo is looking at a variety of edge rushers, from big physical guys to smaller edge benders. Quote
Maine-iac Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM I like that Zeek Biggers kid. Not sure he offers much at all for pass rush but he's supposed to be unmovable and for his size he's done alright at the combine. Projected 6th or 7th round. Quote

He traded up for Edmunds in 2018, up for Cody Ford in 2020, up for Elam in 2021, and up for Kincaid in 2022. Not exactly an all-star lineup. Plus, who knows if he would have hit, if only by chance, on all those picks he surrendered to trade up. No GM hits on everything, and they all have picks that are howlers. But for whatever reason, Beane tends to do worse than his top peers in the early rounds and better in the later ones. Given this, maybe he should be looking to trade way down, like into the third and fourth rounds, when he may tend to rely on the judgment of his experts instead of his own and McDermott's. Yeah but he hit on Allen. Quote

boyst Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Only 1 national champion. The Bills know that the champions have a roster that will be drafted way before. other inferior schools further north have plenty left later in the draft. Quote

Oh, and the time he took Elam in the first. And another time when he traded back into the first for Edmunds. I really hope we get a vet D player with our number 30 pick in a trade and get a 1 tech later in the draft. Grab FA WRs. Over drafted Groot, are you serious? He's at this point not blue chip but he is a really good DE. 2 Quote

Only Defensive players, TEs, and Specialists are here right now so this list will be defensive heavy until Friday. 1. Landon Jackson DE Arkansas 2. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan 3. Josiah Stewart DE Michigan 4. Alfred Collins DT Texas 5. Chris Paul JR LB Mississippi 6. Mike Green DE Marshall 7. Walter Nolan DT Mississippi 8. Jamaree Caldwell DT Oregon 9. Trey Amos CB Mississippi 10. Will Johnson CB Michigan 11. Jaylen Reed S Penn State 12. Alijah Clark S Syracuse 13. Andrew Mukuba S Texas 14. Malaki Starks S Georgia 15. Nick Emmanwori S South Carolina 16. Denzel Burke CB Ohio State 17. Mello Dotson CB Kansas Thanks. Is the list in the order they met with the players? Looks like the Bills will attempt to do what the Chiefs did a few seasons ago, leading to the last few Super Bowls, and, even more so, what the Eagles did so well last year, take a defense in need of significant upgrades and go at it.. Just a tidbit here, but I hope it is a sign of things to come. McDermott will be so happy if this is the case! Likely a little embarrassing for him last season, as those kinds of stats, that kind of defense, is not what he has put forth with the Bills or elsewhere. So if all things come together, next year Josh will have the things he most needs---a high quality O-Line, high quality running game, and high quality defense, all coming together. And young. Hope the Bills are soo confident in the talent available in the draft to fit their needs, that they do not feel the need to go after a mega high priced defensive end. Best case scenario if that is the case. Edited 22 hours ago by Mister Defense Quote

SCBills Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Would love Matthew Golden at Pick 30. What he brings is literally the only thing missing on this Offense right now. For those who want Cook extended, knowing we have Shakir locked up at a reasonable number and two premium pick outside WR’s early in their rookie contracts could be the asset allocation allowed to move closer to where Cook’s camp is in this team paying a RB.
