Obviously as a football fan you should also know that the combine is taking place and the  defense is only here right now. The schedule has been plastered multiple times on this forum.

Dude what?  I was very respectful in my post to you...if you took it otherwise, then I don't know what to tell you.  It was a simple suggestion and the reason I was suggesting it.  

 

Take a chill pill...and no disrespect (since you seem to be keen on taking things as if they are disrespectful)...the fact you have to keep correcting people is exactly why you should just have edited the post and made it clear as it clearly continued to cause confusion to those who aren't aware.  I knew, and when I read your OP it didn't read like you knew...all you said was that "obviously its mostly defensive" when it was 100% defensive players on our list, not "mostly" and none of that suggests its because the offense hasn't reported.  Most people on this board don't follow the combine to the level you seem to expect them to as football fans...I do, but the majority here don't know or follow the schedule.

 

Really was absolutely no reason to get so rude and pissy about this dude.   You do you bud, didn't realize I had to thank you for voluntarily making a post before I could make a simple suggestion to help those who don't follow the combine from getting confused.

Denzel Burke CB Ohio State  and Mello Dotson CB Kansas

 

Hope Beane is looking at Shavon Revel, Jr.  His surgeon “confirmed for NFL teams that Revel's recovery is continuing on track after he underwent surgery to repair his left ACL four months ago … [and] will be ready to conditioning and individual work upon being selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, with full clearance not anticipated until training camp.”

I expect more CBs and Safeties to trickle out. It’s hard because it’s mostly coming from beat reporters and I’m sure they don’t ask it for every guy and can’t be at every podium of guys talking so there will be some guys who are missed. 
 

Zy Alexander has reportedly met with the Bills multiple times informally not formally so I didn’t add him to this list. Cobee Bryant and Ben Morrison spoke but nothing on meeting with the Bills yet

It is interesting that Buffalo's interest in DTs seems to lean more toward 1 tech types.  Even Walter Nolen, who is under 300 lbs, is seen as more of a1 tech than a 3 tech.  It looks like Buffalo is all over the safeties in the draft, and has a lot of interest in CBs too.

Beane in his presser talked about talking to more of the “bigger” guys at DT and even talked more about base ends that can reduce more than pass rushers. Some of the big base ends though are coming in extremely light today compared to their listings. Getting light for the 40 and agility testing

I like that Zeek Biggers kid.  Not sure he offers much at all for pass rush but he's supposed to be unmovable and for his size he's done alright at the combine.  Projected 6th or 7th round.

No GM hits on everything, and they all have picks that are howlers. But for whatever reason, Beane tends to do worse than his top peers in the early rounds and better in the later ones. Given this, maybe he should be looking to trade way down, like into the third and fourth rounds, when he may tend to rely on the judgment of his experts instead of his own and McDermott's.

Looks like the Bills will attempt to do what the Chiefs did a few seasons ago, leading to the last few Super Bowls, and, even more so, what the Eagles did so well last year, take a defense in need of significant upgrades and go at it..

 

Just a tidbit here, but I hope it is a sign of things to come.

 

McDermott will be so happy if this is the case! Likely a little embarrassing for him last season, as those kinds of stats, that kind of defense, is not  what he has put forth with the Bills or elsewhere.

 

So if all things come together, next year Josh will have the things he most needs---a high quality O-Line, high quality running game, and high quality defense, all coming together.  And young.

 

 

Hope the Bills are soo confident in the talent available in the draft to fit their needs, that they do not feel the need to go after a mega high priced defensive end.  Best case scenario if that is the case.
