NFL to use electronic measuring in 2025

The NFL loves creating new rules that would have helped the Bills a month ago.

Will this feature come complete with shocking the official when they spot the ball poorly 🤪

First the OT rule and now this. Adorable how the league realizes they screwed us, so they make a change that would've been helpful up front.  I can't remember the last time I saw a chain gang come on the field for a measurement?  Baseball will have a long overdue digital strike zone.  Just embrace tech and get these spots right.  Humans are too flawed.

Sal was talking about this after the AFC Championship. That this just replaces the chain gang and not where the ball is actually spotted. And said this would not have changed the call as this article does as well. I dont know why they won't chip the ball.

That's the problem! The 3rd down spot was a yard and a half short. Should have been 1st and 10. They are so terrible at spotting the ball.
